Kepala⁵⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Charles Bishop| T: Eve Johnson Houghton

33/1

Promising sixth when making her debut in a 7f novice event at Chelmsford early last month. Step up in trip looks likely to suit and hood worn that day is absent on this occasion.

Form: 6

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: R Kingscote| T: R M Beckett

15/2

Decent effort in finishing 5½L seventh in a 1m novice race at York (soft) when making her debut last month. Wide draw to overcome if she's to take this event however.

Forecasts

Waliyak (10/11), Red Poppy (3/1), La Foglietta (15/2), Lightness (9/1), Kimberley (14/1), Aqrab (16/1), Kepala (33/1), New Tune (33/1), Dima (33/1), Schmoozie (100/1), Dancing Approach (125/1), Nablawyh (125/1), Stand Free (200/1)

WALIYAK sets the standard of those to have run to date and she can break her maiden at the third time of asking in this novice event for fillies. The Le Havre filly can see off Lightness who represents a leading stable on her first outing while Aqrab, a stablemate of the selection can claim third.
