Quirky sort who has been showing some ability and ran well enough to take fourth in 7f Yarmouth nursery last month. Blinkers on for the first time on poly track debut but current mark looks lofty.
Four-time maiden who had been showing some promise before tame eighth at Newcastle (7f) just over two weeks ago. Will need to bounce back from that effort.
Generally shown promise on the track to date and put up career-best performance when second of 13 in C&D nursery on latest start. Cheekpieces retained and has solid claims.
Had looked an exposed sort in novice company but benefitted from drop to selling level with victory in 6f Wolverhampton contest. Back into nurseries for this though and has tough draw to overcome.
Maiden whose best effort came when second at Epsom in September. Not as good since and was poorly placed when sixth at Brighton (7f) at the start of October. Others appeal more.
Won a Newcastle handicap (7f) in September and ran to that level again when seventh at that track in September. Not seen since and will probably need to improve on ratings.
Four-race maiden but progressing with time. Hinted at further ability when staying on fourth at Newcastle (7f) last time out and was denied a clear run that day. Unexposed and worth a betting check.
Lightly-raced sort. Down the field at Salisbury two starts ago but improved greatly when narrow second in 6f nursery here last month. Step up to 7f should be fine and expected to be thereabouts.
Good third at Haydock over the summer but failed to build on that since. Showed further regression when ninth in 7f Newcastle contest and will need to bounce back greatly in this.
Outclassed by other rivals when third at Newcastle two starts ago and seemingly didn't take to the fibresand when 11th at Southwell (6f) last month. Needs improvement on handicap bow.
Wolverhampton seller winner in September and ran with credit on stable debut when upped to claiming company with good third at Chelmsford (7f). This is tougher so more needed.
Not a lot of promise on first three starts but showed a bit more when fifth on stable debut behind Last Date at Chelmsford (6f) last month. Needs to reverse form with that rival.

Burniston Rocks (5/2), Penmellyn (7/2), Rulers Kingdom (7/1), Utopian Lad (7/1), Magical Force (9/1), Constitutional (12/1), Speed Merchant (14/1), Glencoe Boy (14/1), Last Date (14/1), Jochi Khan (16/1), Angels Faces (16/1), Chromium (25/1), Secret Diary (33/1), Moondance (33/1)
PENMELLYN has started to look like she is getting her act together with racing and hinted that she may have been closer in this finish had she not been checked at a crucial stage last time out. She remains unexposed and may be worth siding with. Utopian Lad falls into the same bracket and improved to take second over C&D last time, but is at risk of being in the handicapper's grip, while the likes of Magical Force and Last Date could make their presence known from down in the weights.
- Penmellyn
- Utopian Lad
- Magical Force
