Well treated on best efforts, but form for current yard has been woeful. Does represent the jockey/owner combination behind a well-publicised gamble at Chelmsford recently, though, so wise to check the market for clues.
Form has been patchy for a while, but she took a step back in right direction when 1¾L fourth of 14 to Loulin over C&D last time. Needs to build on that to be competitive.
Still a maiden, but produced her best effort in a while 1½L third of 10 to Hollander in a 6f handicap at Kempton last time. Led inside final furlong there, and drop in trip should suit.
Well bred, but has offered very little to date, and has looked temperamental into the bargain. Handicap debut could be the time for her to mend her ways, but not easy to visualise success.
Hinted at a little of ability in a couple of novice events, but has run poorly on both handicap starts. The hood she has worn on her last three starts has been left off here, which may help, but she has a bit to prove.
Won twice at Catterick last year, and returned to form when second of 10 to Someone Exciting there last time, finishing well. Needs to show she can reproduce that form in different circumstances.
Seven-time turf winner but has yet to trouble the judge on AW in 11 attempts, although has been placed five times. Below form at Kempton last time, and now makes a belated Fibresand debut.
Won at Musselburgh in July, but has lost her form since, and no encouragement in latest effort at Newcastle, beating just one rival. Hooded on recent starts, but headgear abandoned now.
Not at her best since winning over C&D in August, but the very fact she has a course win to her name means she cannot be ignored at this lowly level.
Not exactly firing on all cylinders, but he's not been disgraced when mid-field in a trio of C&D outings this autumn, and won't need to do much more to get involved.
Still a maiden, and form is patchy, but shaped a little better when third of 5 to Society Guest at Newcastle last time. Needs to do better, but possible she can build on that given her lightly-raced profile.
Modest handicapper who at least does have a win to her name this year, taking a 5f handicap at Yarmouth in July. Back to form when 2¼L fourth of 12 to Atwaar over C&D last time, and claims with a repeat.
Unplaced on all 12 starts to date, and while she's not devoid of ability, it is hard to see her shedding her maiden status on her first start since July.
Poor form on balance, and she has failed to even run to that level on her last two starts, failing to beat a rival either time.
Forecasts
Tilsworth Rose (7/2), Alba Del Sole (11/2), Tadaany (6/1), Bithiah (7/1), Moneta (10/1), Jaganory (10/1), Bluella (12/1), Kemmeridge Bay (12/1), Alisia R (18/1), Nifty Niece (25/1), Maerchengarten (33/1), Newgate Angel (40/1), Juan Horsepower (50/1), Tina Teaspoon (80/1)
MONETA has fewer convictions that most, and gets a tentative vote, although the likes of Tilsworth Rose, Bluella and Tadaany also make some appeal on Fibresand form. Juan Horsepower has shown little of late, but is perhaps worth a market check given connections.
- Moneta
- Tilsworth Rose
- Bluella
