Veteran was a surprise winner over 7f (good to firm) at Musselburgh in August, against the grain of other regressive form this year. Not one to trust, but usually competes in higher class, which offers hope.
Retains his enthusiasm given his advancing years, and has won twice here this year. Returned to form with a fair fourth over C&D last time, and place claims if running to that level again.
Improved to land a minor event at Chelmsford (1m) on penultimate start, and took another leap forward with a facile success in similar event over C&D last time. This is tougher, but appears to be progressing quickly, and can complete the hat-trick.
Still a maiden, and has started slowly on both starts over C&D of late, but has still shown improved form in finishing second both times. Can't afford to keep conceding ground at the start, but one of the likelier ones on form.
Interesting on the pick of his form for Charles O'Brien, and has dropped to a good mark after a few lesser efforts. Perhaps not one to trust, but new yard do well with similar types, and market check needed.
Won off 3lb lower at Gowran in May, and good second next time. Not at best since, but she shaped much better than the result when eighth of 18 to We'll Go Again at Cork last time. Could go well if building on that.
Has won two of his ten starts here, and has run creditably to make the frame on both starts this month. Often visored, and tries a change of headgear on return to Fibresand now, so not dismissed.
Tailed-off on bumper debut and well beaten in several Flat runs at 7f/1m, including in a C&D maiden last time. Makes limited appeal making handicap debut unless attracting support.
Ex-French filly. Not knocked around on her debut for this yard over 1½m here last month, but she ran badly upped to 2m here next time, and now drops markedly in trip.
Ran well when runner-up over 1m at Chelmsford in September, but not in quite that form when fifth of 13 to Clipsham Tiger in minor event there last time, and cheekpieces reached for now. Has a squeak if headgear has a galvanising effect.
Form has been patchy this year, and while she wasn't discredited at Ayr on her penultimate outing, she ran poorly back on AW at Newcastle last time, and is opposable on balance.
Big price on all starts, and yet to show much ability, including off basement mark in handicaps. Blinkers tried to no avail the last twice.
Form is uninspiring taken as a whole, and while he seemed to improve when second to Clipsham Tiger over C&D last time, he merely plugged on past beaten rivals, and is probably flattered by that fact.

Forecasts
Clipsham Tiger (10/11), Pearl Spectre (6/1), Oblate (6/1), Crimson King (10/1), Emojie (14/1), Meryems Way (16/1), Alpha Tauri (16/1), Margaret J (20/1), Jagerbond (25/1), Rosin Box (33/1), Echo Of Lightning (50/1), Angel Of My Heart (66/1), Berties Mission (66/1), Longville Lilly (100/1)
Crimson King would normally be of some interest for the switch to Mick Appleby, but the presence of stablemate CLIPSHAM TIGER here suggests that one will have to wait for another day, and Oblate appeals as the biggest danger to the selection, especially if able to avoid the slow starting tendency which has hampered her efforts of late. Meryems Way was poorly drawn last time, but caught the eye, and is another to consider.
