Back to form in style when making it three wins from four at Punchestown last month in soft conditions. Profile looks gradually progressive although he will to overcome/cope with a 13lb higher mark here; worthy of respect from a top-class yard.

Formerly a fairly useful French chaser before coming to GB; reeled off four wins in novice hurdles under his amateur ride. Posted a useful effort at Wetherby last time (quickened clear) in a race that looks strong form; mark fine for handicap debut.

Coped well with testing conditions when winning a bumper/novice hurdle (Ffos Las); that race may have left its mark (beaten twice subsequently). Ridden too aggressively on handicap debut at Chepstow; tongue-tie now added, hard to get a handle on.

Bumper winner (2m4f, soft) who has been placed on all three novice efforts in big fields at distances up to 2m7f. Still looks unexposed for this handicap debut (ran well last time) but hard to say that his mark lets him in lightly.

Taken his time to open his account over hurdles doing so at the fifth attempt when found an easy opening at Fakenham (dictated, won 6L). Back up in trip for his handicap debut with conditions underfoot the softest he's encountered, others preferred.

Thriving of late returning from a break and up in trip to complete a hurdles hat-trick having started her winning spree in a handicap off a 10lb lower mark. Never troubled in easier company last time but flourishing and hard to rule out another win.

Ground is the first question mark that she has to answer (both wins on a good surface) and unseated rider on her latest start. Handicap win came off a much lower mark; this rating looks a tough one to defy, others offer more potential.

Hard to say that he's well handicapped now that he returns to this sphere although he has run with credit in novice company this autumn. Those two runs at Kelso show that he has ability (double penalty his undoing last time); faces a bigger test here

Jacamar14

Resumed winning ways when taking a Newton Abbot novice by 10L; has to a certain extent run well in handicaps since despite his mark not looking lenient. Ran better than his finishing position suggests last time at Ascot; up in trip but needs to impro

Stable are operating below their best at the moment although he did show enough on his return when tackling a similar grade to show he was in decent fettle. Cheekpieces worn for his Chepstow win return; this may be flying too high again though.

Forecasts

Jatiluwih (11/4), Legends Gold (5/1), Remastered (11/2), Falco Blitz (13/2), Treasure Dillon (13/2), Jacamar (15/2), Shanwalla (12/1), Conron (20/1), Peaches And Cream (25/1), Le Milos (25/1)

Verdict

Four last-time out winners are amongst those in the field with LEGENDS GOLD and Jatiluwih chasing multiple wins making this a competitive heat. The first named of that pair has won her last three starts in fine style and with her yard in good form she’s given the vote even though this return to handicap company requires more. The other member of the multiple winning duo is feared having gone 4-4 in GB novice hurdles and now makes his handicap debut. Remastered deserves another chance especially if he’s given a more conservative ride with Jacamar up in trip deserving a second look after he looked a little unlucky last time out at Ascot getting shuffled back at a vital stage.
