18 races without success and was outpaced closing stages last time here over 5f. Eased further 2lb but has fialed to exploit tumbling mark all season and would be surprise if able to do so this time.
Both career wins have come at Yarmouth, including last time out over 6f on heavy ground. Different challenge here but won well under same jockey so may not be far away despite 6lb higher mark.
Formerly trained by Richard Fahey and Paul D'Arcy and placed only two in 12-races so far. Handicapper has given him a chance and was noted running fairly well at Wolverhampton latest following summer break. One to consider.
Better on AW than turf and landed third career win when scoring at Chelmsford in March off 4lb lower mark. Absent 145 days since modest effort on soft ground at Yarmouth in June. Usually needs a run or two to peak.
Both wins have come at 5f, but stays 6f and was solid length second in Kempton handicap recently off 1lb lower mark. Similar effort would see him in the mix once again.
16-race maiden whose best form is arguably over 7f. Ran OK in heavy ground on first start back following break at Catterick last week and feasibly handicapped on the pick of his form this season.
Only win came here over 5f this time last year and has run consistently all season without managing to get his head back in front. Back to 6f and running over 7f last three starts and should be thereabouts yet again.
Listed winner as a juvenile for Richard Hannon but has failed to win since July 2017 when joined current yard despite falling 44lb in the ratings. Not seen since Apriil when well beaten after being hampered. Hard to recommend.
Irish raider who landed Naas 6f handicap three starts ago and went close at Bath last season on only previous foray on these shores. Decent apprentice claims 5lb so no surprise to see her go well.
Landed two Carlisle 6f h'caps in July within space of five days but struggled after that off revised mark. Gradually falling back to more reasonable rating and fair second at Musselburgh 7f last month. Probably failed to stay a mile latest.
Nine-time winner whose last success came in August 2018 off 65. 15lb lower now and was fair third over C&D penultimate start. Wouldn't surprise to see him get involved on these terms.
Placed in four of last six starts at 7f and a mile on turf. Bit disappointing first British AW starts when well beaten Wolverhampton latest but might be worth another chance making the long journey north with good rider booked.
Hinted at a little of ability in a couple of course novice stakes then dwelt and never competitive on h'cap bow here last time over 5f. Eased 2lb and steps up in trip so worth monitorig for a market move.
Won over C&D in February off 10lb higher and has run some fair races here of late without troubling the judge. May not be far away but might find a few too good.
Forecasts
The Bull (7/2), Independence Day (7/2), Rockley Point (15/2), Griggy (9/1), Herringswell (14/1), Coffeemeanscoffee (14/1), Tarnhelm (14/1), Alfred The Grey (14/1), Tarrzan (18/1), Extrasolar (22/1), Tizwotitiz (25/1), King Of Rooks (28/1), Poppy May (33/1), Bithiah (33/1)
Plenty in with chances in this finale, among them the Irish raider COFFEEMEANSCOFFEE who won at Naas three runs back and went well on her only previous visit to Britain. She should give supporters a run for their money. Among a host of horses with chances if things go their way are Independence Day, Griggy, The Bull and Extrasolar, while Tarrzan is not out of it if handling the surface having run well on turf in recent weeks prior to a modest effort at Wolverhampton last time.
