20:15 Dundalk Fri 25 October 2019
Winner of a Leicester maiden two and half years ago landing a 1m4f maiden for trainer Mick Channon. Hurdling recently and not seen on the Flat since August 2017. Best watched here.
Without a win in nine starts on this surface but has managed to hit the frame on four separate occasions. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Modest 77-rated handicapper for trainer John Ryan winner of two of his 18 career starts. Market likely to be the best guide to his chances on debut for yard among the winners here at the last two meetings.
Has hit the frame in four of his five visits here including on one occasion over C&D. Sending out mixed messages in a number of starts on turf over the summer but should be better suited returning to this surface.
Well beaten on three occasion when running off 5lb and 4lb higher marks than his win at Limerick in June. Not a forlorn hope as the colt has hit the frame on both visits to this track.
Early season promise appears to have leveled out to a certain degree following a couple of below-par efforts at Listowel in the space of two days last month and a 7¾L defeat at this venue earlier this month. Hard to fancy stepping up in trip.
Seven-race maiden. In rear before making progress late on to finish a keeping on fifth of 13 over 7f on first start here earlier this month. Gave the impression there was more to come.
Has two wins at the track to his name from 12 starts, hitting the frame on a further three occasions. Third of nine here over 1m4f earlier in the month. Entitled to be in the hunt for more prize money.
Winner at the third attempt when landing a Killarney maiden over 1m on soft ground in August before finding the step up in trip or initial mark too much on handicap debut at Gowran Park last month. Capable of bouncing back.
Three-time winner over C&D from seven starts over the combination. Has shown little or no aptitude in starts at Ballinrobe in June or here over 1m4f last month but is not easily ruled out on return to this trip and blinkers reapplied.
Running well and holding his form in a number of starts since August including an encouraging run on return to this track last month finishing fifth of 14 beaten 2¼L. Worth a market check back up in trip.
10-race maiden who appeared to improve for the application of blinkers earlier this month over C&D when finishing second of 14 beaten 2¼L behind Tartlette. Likely to run well once again.
Well down the field on each of the geldings four career starts so far including on handicap debut at Gowran Park last month. Looks opposable in current form.
First Reserve: Nothing of note in a number of dismal efforts on the Flat and over hurdles since the geldings debut in June. Plenty of questions to answer at present.
