Had looked to be an improving sort but failed to build on early promise when only sixth in 6f Windsor novice in August. High enough mark for handicap debut which is off-putting.
Failed to land a telling blow of late and was sent off 100/1 when down the field valuable sales race at York (6f) when last seen. Blinkers are reached for the first time but makes limited appeal.
Steadily progressive over 1m this season, including latest third in 1m Salisbury novice last month. Enters handicap company for the first time in this and should play a part with drop back to 7f.
Winner at Salisbury earlier on in the season and not disgraced since. Kept on modestly when sixth in C&D nursery last month so will need a bit more but proven on slower ground.
Inconsistent sort. Runner up at Wolverhampton (6f) two starts ago before tame effort at Newcastle nursery (6f) in September. Makes limited appeal.
Looked to be a progressive sort but wasn't suited by aggressive tactics in 1m Pontefract nursery late last month. Dropped 1lb for that though and claims if replicating best form.
Found life tough earlier in the season but produced best performance to date when third of 11 at Wolverhampton (6f) in early September. Should get the trip and looks to be in here lightly on handicap debut.
Kept busy in juvenile campaign and landed two contest in June. Not the same since however, including last of five at Nottingham (5f) a week ago and looks exposed to other rivals.
Landed Chelmsford contest (7f) on penultimate start but underperformed when seventh in C&D novice a week ago. Given leniency in the handicap but will need to step forward.
Best effort came when runner-up at Newbury in June but not in the same form since. Only third of four in 1m Bath nursery on latest start. Blinkers are off today.
Has been knocking on the door without winning to date, including narrow defeat in 7f Yarmouth nursery (heavy) last week. Still well-treated and jockey claims further 3lb off. Respected.
Uninspiring in three starts to date but put up better performance when sixth of nine at Kempton (6f) in late September. Plenty to find on form.

Elegant Erin (10/3), North Point (5/1), Light The Fuse (5/1), Go Well Spicy (9/1), High Flying Bird (10/1), Hashtagmetoo (10/1), Zingaro Boy (10/1), Sterling Stamp (10/1), Sir Oliver (12/1), Willa (14/1), Desert Palms (14/1), Too Shy Shy (25/1), Nirodha (25/1), Bad Company (33/1)
There is not much between these rivals on ratings at this stage and preference is for NORTH POINT to belatedly get off the mark. He has been doing well over a mile and the drop back to this trip could irk out the best in him. Light The Fuse did nothing wrong when only beaten by a head next time out and could be dangerously poised off the same mark for this, while likes Elegant Erin is proven on slower ground and may be better than she showed last time. The dark horse of the race is Sir Oliver, who gets into this race off an incredibly lenient mark on his encouraging run at Wolverhampton.
- North Point
- Light The Fuse
- Sir Oliver
