Too keen back on the Flat latest but been in good form this summer over hurdles with a Uttoxeter win the highlight of a really consistent spell. No reason he can't return to such form to go well here.
Re-appearing mare remains winless but rarely runs a bad race and here last two efforts in competitive handicaps at Exeter both entitle her to each-way consideration here.
Heavily defeated in handicaps off a lower mark each time since beating three rivals in a Leicester novice hurdle over 2m4f. Has a career-low mark here for return and still a relatively young horse.
Looking at his best form so far some cut in the ground is required with both his best recent efforts coming on good-to-soft (won off 103 at Huntingdon). Below form at the end of last season and others are preferred here.
Useful handicap hurdler at his best but lost his way in 2017 and was pulled up in lone start for this yard back in March after nearly two years off. Plenty to prove after another layoff.
Showed far more than previously when second at Worcester in August over 2m4f only to flop there next back at 2m on similar ground. Risky proposition.
Tailed off on handicap debut after twice outrunning big odds in maiden and novice company last season. Still early days however so improvement possible.
Inconsistent since winning a Taunton maiden last season but his Fontwell third in March off this mark entitles him to respect and he is contender in a wide-open race.
Twice placed off marks higher than this before pulling up at Uttoxeter last time out. Stays well and should be able to bounce back in a very ordinary race.
Made the transition from bumpers to hurdles with a winning debut over timber at Perth confirming the promise he had shown earlier. Failed to repeat his first hurdles effort at Cartmel last time; now goes handicapping for the first-time.
Longer trip at Warwick in final start failed to bring about requisite improvement in this maiden and he reappears with plenty still to prove but time on his side.
Maiden but second in last three completions over hurdles (fell in between). Latest effort at Exeter gives him standout claims on reappearance in this very weak contest
Three-times a winner over fences since last seen over hurdles back in 2017. Same mark as chasing and suggest one he can be effective off here.
Only 1lb higher today than when registering lone win in 25 starts over C&D last season. Shook off a couple of below par efforts latest when third at Worcester and no reason he can't make the frame here.
Pulled up and twice tailed off over hurdles so far. Had a wind-op during the summer and now goes down the handicapping route. In good hands and a potential improver.
Yet to get competitive in 2019 and unlikely to be here from a long way out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Rosemary Russet (9/2), Dollnamix (5/1), Little Vern (6/1), Dark Episode (7/1), Heavey (7/1), Peur De Rien (8/1), Demon Fou (10/1), Moans Cross (16/1), Harbour Force (20/1), Sammylou (25/1), Granitic (25/1), Mix Of Clover (25/1), Cap Horner (40/1), Polished Rock (40/1), Bishopslough (66/1), Mount Vesuvius (66/1)
This won't take a great deal of winning and Emma Lavelle looks to have found a fine opportunity for DOLLNAMIX to finally open his account presuming he arrives in the same form he was in at the end of last season. Consistent sorts Harbour Force and Rosemary Russet and unexposed pair Little Vern and Heavey head the rivals.
- Dollnamix
- Harbour Force
- Little Vern
