Broke his maiden at Kempton (1m) on his debut by an head. Went off as the 8/11 favourite last time at Bath (1m) but had to settle for second of five. Sets the standard here so he is the one to beat despite his penalty.

Finished fourth of 12 on his opening start at Lingfield (1m) on the AW where he led for the majority of the race. Was short for room in the closing stages. Likely to improve on that performance here. One for the shortlist.

Zoffany colt who was foaled on February 7 and cost €26,000 as a yearling. He is a half-brother to multiple-winners, including Princess Pearlita who prevailed at trips up to 1m1f. Best to watch on debut start.

Has shown very little in his three starts to date. His latest attempt came at Kempton (7f) where he was never in contention, eventually finishing seventh of 12. Needs to improve on what he has already shown.

Poet's Voice colt who was foaled on March 13 and cost €20,000 as a yearling. He is a half-brother to two winners, including Win For Charity who scored over 1m. Likely to be better with experience.

Sir Percy colt who was foaled on March 5 and cost 10,000 gns as a yearling. His dam was successful over 7f and 1m. Interesting debutant who is worth considering on his first appearance on a track.

Made an encouraging debut at Wolverhampton (7f) where he was third of 12 runners, beaten by 1½L. He was staying on very strongly in the closing stages so this step up in trip could help his chances. One to consider.

Has only beaten one horse in his two appearances so far. He was at the rear of a 12 runner field last time at Kempton (7f). Very difficult to make a case for him here on the evidence of what we have seen from him.

Showed some promise on her debut when she was only 1¼L away at the finish when she was third of five here over 7f. Was disappointing last time though as she was last of seven runners at Wolverhampton (7f). Needs to bounce back from latest attempt.

Failed to make an impression on her one and only appearance so far when she was ninth of 12 at Kempton (7f), beaten 11L after going off at 33/1. Needs to improve a lot on that first run. Others appeal more.

Finished fifth of 11 on her debut at at Newmarket over 7f back in July where she was with the leaders but outpaced in the final 1f. Is open to improvement on her second start. Best to watch for now.

Has featured four times without any success so far. She lined up in handicap company last time at Newcastle (6f) where she was seventh of 10. Stepping up in distance now. Does need to prove her stamina.
Outstrip filly who was foaled on April 5 and cost 3,000 gns as a yearling. Her dam was a winner over 6f as a two-year-old. She is a half-sister to 5f winner Enough Said. Best to watch on her debut.

Verdict

BRONZE RIVER has done little wrong in both of his two starts so far and he can build upon his debut victory on the AW at Kempton with his second success here, despite having to concede weight all round. Diamond Falls finished his race very strongly last time after a slow start to come home third. Expect to see him even closer this time over this slightly longer distance, while School Of Thought is the most interesting newcomer who could finish in the frame on the first run of his career.
