Off the mark for connections on just her second start on the level when landing a Listowel 1m soft ground maiden last month. Looks to have been given a high enough mark.
Solid and consistent sort who has held her form well in a number of starts over the summer. Positives outweigh the negatives and the Dandy Man mare should be among the leading players.
Winner over this trip on four occasions. Well held in two recent starts and still racing 8lb higher than last winning mark and the handicapper appears to look in control.
Off the mark for connections at the fourth time of asking when landing a Roscommon 7½f handicap on heavy ground last month off a 15lb lower mark. Ran well in defeat at Listowel over this trip latest and another bold show is likely here.
Has failed to build on a promising win at Tipperary in June with a number of dismal efforts since all over similar trips. Hard to fancy on overall evidence since the win.
Won for the fifth time in her career when landing a Galway 1m½f handicap on soft ground last month off a 6lb lower mark. Ran well in defeat at the Curragh over this trip latest and not to be taken lightly here.
Tough filly, off the mark for connections at the ninth time of asking landing a Naas 1m maiden on good ground last month. Didn't operate on the AW surface at Dundalk earlier this month but can bounce back in first-time blinkers.
Well beaten and no impression on latest start in a Listowel 1m handicap last month but can be forgiven that run on balance of a number of starts over the summer. Coming back down to a winning mark and worth a check in the betting.
Off the mark for connections at the fifth time of asking in a Limerick 1m4½f handicap on good ground in July off a 4lb lower mark. Beaten but not discredited since and a return to form would not surprise.
Genuine filly who always gives her running. One from 27 career starts and on a 19-race losing run currently but the daughter of Raven's Pass is more than capable of a bold bid in this company.
Off the mark at the sixth time of asking on turf when landing a Gowran Park 1m soft ground handicap last month off a 16lb lower mark. Has a tough penalty to overcome.
Tough and genuine sort. Not out of the frame in five of her last six starts. Winner over this trip at Gowran Park last month and continuation of development on the cards.
Landed a double 12 months ago before a run of five heavy defeats saw the daughter of Mayson rating come rattling back down before a win at Gowran Park over this trip last month. Showed battling qualities that day and needs more here.
Winner of five of her 23 career starts, the daughter of Famous Name was last seen finishing half-way down a 15-runner field at Listowel last month. More required off her current mark.
Daughter of Siyouni out of a Green Desrt mare. Four-race maiden in France for trainer Matthew Palussiere. Tough ask on stable debut.
Running well on return to the AW at Dundalk recently but hard to fancy on the balance of a number of dismal efforts on turf over the summer.
Forecasts
Mean Fomhair (7/2), Getaway Katie Mai (4/1), Lady In Lavender (5/1), Passing Trade (8/1), Stormy Tale (9/1), Tuamhain (10/1), Bellakris (12/1), Stormy Belle (16/1), Innamorare (16/1), Cracking Name (16/1), Jumellea (20/1), Engles Rock (20/1), Never Rains (25/1), Waitaki (33/1), What A Queen (33/1), Aurora Moon (40/1)
GETAWAY KATIE MAI got off the mark for connections on just her second start on the level when landing a Listowel 1m soft ground maiden last month and can improve once again to land the spoils here. The daughter of Getaway ran on strongly to lead well inside the final furlong to win going away to claim the race by 2L. Mean Fomhair who ran well in defeat despite a 15lb penalty at Listowel last month can emerge as the biggest danger while last time out winners, Lady In Lavender and Tuamhain can duel for remaining prize money. Improved efforts from Engles Rock and Innamorare would not surprise.
- Getaway Katie Mai
- Mean Fomhair
- Lady In Lavender
