Built on what was a career-best at the time when taking a Chester 7f Listed after her Goodwood handicap win showed her to be in good form this year. Not disgraced in a tough AW Heritage handicap at Chelmsford last time; penalty make life tough.

Second in the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes (7f); final 2yo start before gaining her first/only pattern success so far when taking the Fred Darling at Newbury (7f, soft) on return. Not seen since finishing down the field, 1000 Guineas; penalty may anchor.

Penalised for her Listed race win at Carlisle which showed her to be an improving sort having previously won a 7f soft ground novice. Disappointed over 6f on good ground last time at Pontefract leaving doubts about her at this level.

Dual winner last year including in French Listed company over 7f with ease in the ground that victory being the last we saw of her as a 3yo. Highly tried in a couple of Group 3 contests this year, this will be easier; others persuade more.

Winner of this last year as a 3yo looking comfortable over the trip; yet to win this year having run for the most part in a mixture of Group/Listed races. Produced a rare poor effort at Doncaster last time; handles conditions, could well bounce back.

Caused a 66-1 shock when winning a York handicap over 7f on quick ground but proved that form to be legitimate when following up in similar conditions at Thirsk, favourite this time. Very much up in class; fair bit to do at the weights; respected.

Won on three occasions last year with both handicap victories coming on the AW at up to 1m. Produced some sound efforts this year without winning until faltering on her last two runs in Group/Listed company; not written off with ground in her favour.

Blinkers go on for the first-time having been a French Listed winner last autumn over 1m on good ground at Saint-Cloud. Started this season in creditable fashion; run poorly and well beaten last two starts; hard to fashion a case.

Useful performer but looks to have been forced to try her luck in this grade due to a harsh looking handicap mark. Didn't look at all suited by the drop to 7f last time on the AW failing to land a blow; would be a surprise winner of this.

In need of the experience on her only 2yo start she improved markedly to record a first-time out victory this year at Doncaster over 7f. Not seen to best effect since that win (has been tried in a Group 3); should have more to offer at this level.

Produced a useful effort in now usual cheekpieces when making all to win a Bath handicap over 6f on quick ground. Subsequently placed in three consecutive Listed starts over 6f/7f, not hard to think she can get involved.

Course winner with that win owing plenty to a fine ride from Frankie Dettori (made all, very much had the run of the race). Listed form since on a variety of ground and over different distances hasn't quite proved that she up to this level.

Verdict

A penalty hasn’t been carried in this since 2009 which means that Beauty Filly, Dandhu and Tapisserie all have difficult tasks especially when last year’s winner Di Fede is lurking unpenalised and looking as though she has a good opportunity to follow up last year’s win. She won’t be far away but there look to be one or two interesting types amongst the three-year-olds with Lyzbeth one who merits close consideration along with Miss Celestial who has run consistently well at this level and will handle conditions. RED STARLIGHT (second last year) may well go one better returned to more testing conditions having been unsuited by quick ground the last twice.
