Dubai Icon (6/4), It Had To Be You (11/4), Dr Jekyll (9/2), Equal Sum (8/1), Karisoke (12/1), Detective (16/1), Anything For You (50/1), Martin King (50/1), Shattering (50/1), Bescaby (50/1), Extrodinair (66/1)

Verdict

The betting will prove very informative here. Equal Sum and DUBAI ICON are both coming back from layoffs with the potential for progress. The Royal runner was beaten only by a subsequent Group 3 runner-up at Lingfield in December after a winning debut but preference is for Godolphin's representative, who won a Nottingham maiden in ready style last autumn and should be primed to go on return with Oisin Murphy up. Dr Jekyll ran into strong opposition on debut and should improve, while newcomers Detective and It Had To Be You are bred to be above average. Interesting race.
