By Canford Cliffs, cost 30,000 gns as a foal. Made the frame both starts so, including chasing home easy dual winner over 6f here recently. Up in trip and claims again now.
Medicean gelding. Half-brother to 5f/6f winner Hannahs Turn. Makes belated racecourse bow at four-years-old. Well worth a look in the betting.

Best effort came here in 7f novice in June (neck second). Well held in handicaps at Chelmsford (7f) and Wolverhampton (1m1½f) so far. Visored first-time and possibilities back in maiden company.

Placed three times in six runs, including over C&D on handicap debut in July (third) and close second over a mile at Windsor last time from this mark. Entitled to consideration with Oisin Murphy taking over.
Helmet half-brother to three winners, one of them useful. Well held in two turf starts for different trainers over 1m2f so far. Drops in distance for AW bow, must improve in this field.

Mayson gelding, sent off 100-1 in C&D novice last month on second start and beaten over 8L in finishing sixth of 10. Plenty to work on.

Made a promising debut when placed at Chelmsford last November and again showed plenty when second in Yarmouth maiden (7f, good to firm) in July. Perhaps paid for front-running since at Redcar (7f, good; 5-6f) and should bounce back.

Sir Prancealot filly out of a dual winner over 5f in modest company. She finished last of six in Yarmouth maiden (6f, good to firm; 40-1) on debut last month and has plenty to work on now.

Harbour Watch filly related to some useful winners; she was well fended off in 7f maiden here last month having set off a 33-1 chance. Watching brief here.

By American sire Yorgunnabelucky, filly has suffered three wide-margin defeats in as many starts; including over 7f here on debut in March. Hooded this time, not one to get behind just yet.

Filly by Most Improved is a half-sister to two ordinary winners from 7f-1m1f. She was beaten 27L on debut at Salisbury (7f, good to soft; 33-1) on last month's debut and has to improve dramatically.

Lethal Force filly, has shown bits of promise in five turf starts at up to and including this trip. Makes AW bow and sports first-time visor. Possible improver and will hold a chance in the scenario.

Forecasts

Jack D'Or (8/11), Characteristic (4/1), Pamper (6/1), Don't Jump George (9/1), Burning Topic (12/1), Uzincso (40/1), Never To Forget (40/1), Master Milliner (66/1), Jane Camille (125/1), Miss Ditsy (150/1), Forgotten Girl (200/1), Little Lady Luck (200/1)

Verdict

Oisin Murphy takes over on board JACK D'OR, with Ed Walker's colt having gone close last time in a handicap at Windsor. He just about sets the standard and, with his in-form rider, can take advantage of this easier mission. Characteristic also has possibilities back in maiden company, while Pamper is a likely improver and Burning Topic may bounce back having done too much in front last time at Redcar following a promising debut effort.
