Has won twice on the Flat, including at Fairyhouse (7f) back in July. Her form since has been poor. She had just one rival behind her in a 15 runner field at Killarney (1m) last time. Cheekpieces are on for the first time here. Needs to bounce back.

Lightly-raced filly who has appeared five times without successful so far. She struggled in a handicap contest at the Curragh (1m2f) last time where she was last of 24. Down in trip which should help, however, she needs to improve.

Was successful three-times in the UK before switching to Ireland. She has yet to score in two starts for her new yard. She was 10th of 11 at Leopardstown (6f) last time. so she needs to bounce back from that. Up in trip. Leading player.

Scored over this trip at Killarney back in July. Then switched yards where she has been consistent without success on her three runs, finishing in the frame on each occasion, including at Tipperary (7½f) last time. Each-way claims.

Broke her maiden two starts back at Sligo (1m2f). Was unable to follow it up last time here over 1m1½f where she was fourth of 15. She is down in trip but another strong performance can be expected so she is one for the shortlist.

Scored over this distance at Musselburgh back in July where she was on the right side of a photo-finish. She was fourth of 15 at Bellewstown (1m) last time in a handicap contest. Cheekpieces are on for the first time here. Has a solid chance.

Still looking for that opening success after nine starts. She ran well last time in a big runner field at Bellewstown (1m) where she came home fourth of 15. This assignment looks easier so she is one to consider.

Remains a maiden after four starts, however, she has shown some promise so far. She was a little disappointing here at this track last time over 1m1½f as she could only finish sixth of 17 when going as the 5/2 favourite. Worth considering.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-8| J: Nathan Crosse(5)| T: G Elliott| OR:  56
33/1
Has yet to prevail in five appearances. Her last outing came on the AW at Dundalk (7f) back in January where she was eighth of 11 in what was her handicap debut. This is her first attempt at this new trip. Hard to make a case for.

66/1
Has struggled in all five of her starts so far. Her last run was at Limerick over this distance where she was last of 15 runners after going off at 100/1. This is her first run for her new yard, however, she is difficult to fancy.

Forecasts

Lappet (9/4), Timemakesitfine (3/1), Never Rains (7/2), The Feathered Nest (7/1), Grove Hill (8/1), Lottieloveheart (11/1), Nakakande (33/1), Clonard Abbey (33/1), Queen Mia (40/1), Dandy Pearl (66/1)

Verdict

THE FEATHERED NEST has yet to show her best form since moving to Ireland, however, she is back off her last winning mark and is likely to enjoy this step up in distance so take her to record her fourth career success. Timemakesitfine has been expensive to follow recently, however, she has shown enough to indicate she will be competitive in this contest at the finish, while Lottieloveheart produced a solid performance over this distance at Bellewstown last time and a repeat of that will see her finish in the frame.
  1. The Feathered Nest
  2. Timemakesitfine
  3. Lottieloveheart
