Looking for his first win since April 2017. Down in grade after not being at his best in four starts for new yard. Others preferred on AW debut until signs of more.

Below his best on sole previous visit here but did well to return from over a year off the track with a close third over 7f at Kempton. Suited by the extra trip and capable if transferring form to this course.

Remains 4lb higher than his last win but made it three thirds in a row with a close effort over this C&D in July. Has had wind surgery since and likely to be involved once again.

Without a win since November 2017 and remains 5lb higher. Made the frame in both starts this year including over 7f here. Arguably better at 7f but consistent and could well be competitive again.

Still searching for his first win since his Italian days with Stefano Botti. Has been given a chance at the weights but needs to leave the form of his three starts for this yard readily behind.

Winner over this C&D late last year and gained a fourth career success when scoring at Newcastle in January. Vulnerable off 3lb higher but a consistent performer on the AW who will likely leave his latest turf run behind.

Twice a winner over 7f at Wolverhampton earlier in the year and currently 4lb higher. Stays this distance but form has been inconsistent since and below par here last start.

Racing 8lb lower than last turf win of 2018 with some mixed form in six starts for new yard this year. Ran well here in April before a poor run and proving hard to predict.

Sole win came in France back in 2017 but raced up to his best when a narrow second over 7f here last time. Has hit the line well a number of times that suggests he's worth another try at this trip. One to consider.

Sole win from 15 starts came off 1lb lower over this trip at Lingfield in March. A touch below that the last twice but capable off this mark if back to his very best.

All four career wins have come here (one over this distance) and back on last successful mark from April. Below that since but could bounce back for the return from turf.

Forecasts

Lawmaking (11/4), Zeyzoun (3/1), Dourado (7/1), Harbour Vision (8/1), Rogue (8/1), Tadleel (10/1), Pheidippides (12/1), Blame Culture (14/1), Azzeccagarbugli (16/1), Glory of Paris (16/1), Banksea (50/1)

Verdict

A very open contest with a number of realistic chances. Lawmaking and Dourado are both reliable performers who are expected to be close to the money again. ZEYZOUN may well have more to offer up in trip and deserves an overdue success following a very good run here last time. Tadleel is a big danger up in distance following a fine effort following a lengthy absence.
