By Sepoy out of unraced half-sister to Group 1-winning sprinter Kingsgate Native. Made winning debut over 6f AW at Newcastle 16 days ago, staying on well to win with a bit in hand. Could be more to come.

160,000 guineas son of Dark Angel; dam won over 6f and placed in Listed company. Looks the part on paper although yard is a little quiet at present so would help to see some market support.

Dubawi half-brother to high-class Group 1 winner Ribchester. Yard in good form, won this contest in 2013. Holds Group 1 Dewhurst entry and connextions would need him to run well here to justify that and other entries. Very interesting contender.

62,000 guineas Arqana Breeze Up purchase earlier this year. In touch until weakened 2f out and faded fast to finish last of 14 on debut at Newbury last month. Looks as thoguh he'll need more time.

200,000 guineas Tatts Breeze Up buy. Starspangledbanner half-brother to three fair winners. Debuted over 7f here recently and ran well enough until weakening 1f out. Drops back in trip and should have learned plenty from that.

Swiss Spirit gelding cost 20,000 guineas. Makes debut for yard with 8% juvenile strike rate at this track. May well benefit from this first racecourse experience.

Sepoy gelding out of Group-placed Oasis Dream mare. Yard not known for debut juvenile winner so will have to be pretty smart to score here against some potentially decent rivals.
Yard in decent form of late. Lawman illy who is half-sister to three winners at up to a mile. Probably will improve for the outing but worth a market check nonetheless given current stable form.

Forecasts

Electrical Storm (11/10), Huraiz (2/1), Badri (5/1), Amarillo Star (6/1), Many A Star (9/1), One Night Stand (20/1), Mums The Law (33/1), Boasty (40/1), Fighting Don (50/1), William Thomas (50/1)

Verdict

ELECTRICAL STORM stands out on pedigree in this field and hails from a yard operating at around 32% strike rate at present. There's every chance he will prove good enough to win here on debut. Huraiz created a good imrpession when scoring first time out at Newcastle and looks decent. He has to give away weight all round though so will do well to follow up. Badri is another newcomer who catches the eye on paper so is certainly worth a second glance, while Many A Star must look the part having cost 200,000 guineas at the spring Breeze Up sales and showed some promise on debut here last time.
