Garswood half-brother to 7f winner Sir Reginald Brown, well held in 6f soft-ground contest York on debut this month. Needs to step up on that effort considerably.
Shaped with some promise late on in June's debut outing at Newbury (6½f, soft) and not a major surprise if he should build on that effort after a short break.
Tagula gelding. Dam, 1m1½f winner, closely related to useful 7f winner Northern Rocked. Market should prove a decent guide on first start.
Gelded French Navy juvenile, sent off 100-1 in Nottingham novice (1m½f, good to soft) on second start and was in trouble some way from home. Unlikely winner here.
Gelded son of Gregorian, finished fourth of six in minor contest at Chester (7f, good to soft) this month on second start. Needs to improve, may benefit switched to handicaps after this.
40,000gns Anjaal yearling; closely related to the 6f juvenile scorer Areen Faisal. Didn't show enough on debut at Haydock (1m, good) recently to warrant support for this contest.
Cityscape filly; half-sister to four winners; slowly away and never reached a challenging position when fifth of 12 behind subsequent Brighton scorer Hariboux at Wolverhampton (7f); retains scope to do better.
Half-sister to Italian 6f-1m winner Finisela Subit. Outran odds of 100-1 on debut at Nottingham (6f, soft) earlier in the month (finished fourth) and entitled to make progress.
Poet's Voice filly with a pair of wide-margin defeat at Doncaster and Nottingham under her belt. Cheekpieces are tried now but has a lot of improvement to find.
Dandy Man filly, unfancied 50-1 chance on debut at Yarmouth (7f, good) this month, breaking slowly and finding little at the business end. Overlooked here.

He concedes a penalty but this still looks a fine chance for Doncaster winner WYCLIF to make it 2-2 for trainer Ralph Beckett. He'll have learned plenty from his debut success and looks capable of further progress in what isn't a strong contest on paper. Escape Proof and Fedora Fits are possible improvers while Compensate makes appeal on pedigree and is one to pay attention to on debut for a good yard.
