A maiden under both codes of racing and made little impression before being eased on Fat/AW debut here last week. Hard to recommend on that evidence but did run respectably in course bumper back in February. Others more appealing.

22,000 gns yearling whose debut run at Wolverhampton was nothing out of the ordinary. The gelding faded once headed and found little for pressure inside the final quarter mile. Will be wiser but already needs to improve.
Pedigree is OK for middle distances but debut run was a moderate performance and did little to boost his profile. Might do better given time but needs to find plenty to get involved at the business end this time.

Well backed at Windsor in May and although still well held in second, it was a big improvement from his debut run at Wolverhampton last December. Up to a more appropriate trip and from an in-form yard so merits plenty of respect.

Run consistently since gaining a handicap mark but not disgraced when second in novice company last time out; sets the standard at present and her dam won a maiden on the AW (for this yard), so ought to handle the new surface. Player at this level.
Debut run last September was a modest effort and not much improvement shown when eighth of ten at Chelmsford last month. Difficult to recommend over a longer trip.
Unfancied in the betting (50/1) on last month's debut at Pontefract (1m2f, good to firm) and made little impression; big improvement needed to figure here.

Two respectable efforts so far but still well held when third of nine at Lingfield earlier in the month. Her dam is a half-sister to a Group 3 winner over 1m2f but latest start still wasn't convincing enough to suggest this longer trip will suit.

Verdict

Not the strongest race from a betting perspective but MOJAVE showed some promise when stepped up in trip last time and is fancied to take this extra distance in her stride in a race where only a few make any realistic appeal on the form shown so far. Inclyne sets the BHA standard and, as a consistent individual, she easily looks the best alternative to the selection; followed by Voice Of Calm, who stands out as the best of the rest but confidence is tempered as she does need to up her game as she was well held in both her previous starts.
