Scored twice on fast ground (7f/1m) this season, but was unable to maintain that form after the handicapper had his say. Better effort over 1m2f at Ayr last time, and return to 1m looks positive. Not ruled out.
From from earlier in the season would give him claims from this winning mark. Off the boil on his last two runs, but still worth each-way consideration.
Has been beaten in all seven starts over 1m2f this season. Drops back in trip, and has won over 1m, so that looks positive, and could make more impact from what is a winning mark.
Without a win for over four years, but has regularly been competitive and ran well when second at Carlisle last time. If able to back that up, he would again have each-way claims.
Former John Gosden inmate who has yet to win in six runs for this trainer. Drops 2lb since latest run, but more needed.
Scored on firm at Bath (1m) last month, when 2lb lower. Two runs since have to be considered disappointments. Has been in the frame on slower ground, and couldn't rule him out if bouncing back.
Scored at Doncaster (1m, soft) in June, and went close again at Pontefract recently. Nudged up another 1lb, but looks a leading contender if he can hold his form again.
Sole win came on fast ground, so has a bit to prove on the forecast softer conditions. 0-4 since joining this trainer and others make more appeal.
