Got off the mark at the fifth attempt at Salisbury (5f) two runs back. Struggled on his opening handicap start at Haydock (6f) where he was seventh of 10. Has been eased 2lb and down in trip. Tongue-tie on for first time. Others preferred.

Has showed some promise on his three starts so far without success, although he did come close last time at Ffos Las (6f) when second of seven, beaten by a neck. Handicap debut here. Makes a lot of appeal.

Broke her maiden at Windsor (5f) in impressive fashion, scoring by 5l. Has struggled since joining handicap company though. He was a little better last time when finishing third of seven at Chester (5f). Has each-way claims off this mark.

Still a maiden after four starts. Was fancied to get off the mark last time on what his first run for his new yard and his handicap debut but he had to settle for fourth of 10 at Windsor (5f). Down 2lb. Not to be discounted.

Scored at the second attempt at Leicester (5f) but has been unable to follow that up since then in two runs, including latest at Thirsk (6f) when seventh of eight. Back down in trip. Needs to improve.

Handicap debut here following three modest appearances so far. Her best performance to date came at Windsor (5f) on her latest outing where she was third of nine. Could be interesting off her opening mark.

Forecasts

Bushtucker Trial (3/1), Swinley (10/3), Shammah (4/1), Queen Aya (4/1), Allez Sophia (4/1), Charlemaine (5/1), Point of Order (11/2), Dark Optimist (9/1)

Verdict

POINT OF ORDER was denied by just a neck last time at Ffos Las where he was leading inside the final 1f. This step down in trip should help on what is his handicap debut. This looks a great chance for him to open his account. Allez Sophia begins her handicap campaign here and on the evidence of what she has sown so far, a big run can be expected, while Charlemaine can be in the mix despite the 5lb rise in the weights for his recent success over this distance at Sandown.
  1. Point of Order
  2. Allez Sophia
  3. Charlemaine
