Not seen on the Flat since 2016 his recent exploits over hurdles don't inspire much confidence; last two efforts have been very laboured. 3lb below his last winning mark in this sphere he'll need to show more zeal to take advantage.
Winning hurdler returned from 733 days off when last of six beaten 15L over 2m at Lingfield in June. Won off higher marks in the distant past but hard to be confident now.
Looked progressive on the level last summer winning over 1m2f and finishing second over 1m4f before being bough for 100,000gns with a view to hurdling. Three starts in that sphere disappointing but Flat profile more appealing.
Won a 1m4f Leicester seller on turf in May but fair to say he hasn't looked like making an impact in four AW starts since joining this trainer. Stays 2m but former Group class veteran is clearly now regressive.
Finished last season with a flourish winning two minor events at Haydock over 1m4f. Excuses for two of his runs this season given clear preference for soft conditions which he could get here. Best run of 2019 expected.
First start following wind surgery when fading to be last of nine at Haydock (1m6f, good to soft) three weeks ago. On a workable mark should he find his form again.
Failed to improve on Haydock success in June and looked to have regressed when 11th, beaten 24L, in 1m3f Hamilton handicap last month. Claims on best form but trip here an unknown and others preferred.
Lone win remains a Goodwood seller over 1m3f in August 2017. Fourth when last seen over hurdles in April but failed to beat a rival before that in last two Flat starts so highly risky proposition here after the break.
Form steadily improving in line with the upward curve that the yard is on and he duly got off the mark winning by 4L over this trip at Yarmouth last week. Trainer legendary with such types under a penalty as he is so highly appealing here.

Sir Mark Prescott has hit a red-hot run of form after a quiet spring and in ROAD TO PARIS he looks to have the sort he excels with under a penalty so the three-year-old gets the vote to follow up his Yarmouth win. With the selection likely to be short those looking for each-way prospects should consider Tidal Point and Brancaster who have both had excuses for under-performances of late but the pair should both find all in their favour again now.
