Broke her maiden at the second attempt last time when successful at this track over 5f. She held on well in the closing stages to suggest this step up in trip will not be a problem. One to consider as she bids to follow up.
Was successful over this distance on just her second start at Lingfield last month when going off at 33/1. Open to improvement as she looks to repeat her recent victory. Leading player.
Made a winning start at Newbury (6f) on her debut in a 10 runner field where she scored by 4½L. Did not follow it up over that same C&D when going off as the 11/10 favourite last time though as she could only finish seventh of 13. One to consider.
Iffraaj filly who was sixth of 11 on her debut at Kempton (6f) on the AW where she was 4¼L away from the winner after going off at 20/1. Makes her opening appearance on turf here. One to watch.
Could only finish 10th of 13 on her debut at Newbury over this distance last month where she weakened inside the closing stages. Likely to improve from experience of opening run but best to watch for now.
Cable Bay filly who was foaled on March 22. Her dam was a winner over 5f, while she is also related to Bright Edge who scored over 6f. Likely to be much better once she has some experience on the track.
Was last of six at Newmarket (7f) on her debut. Improved on her second start which came on the AW at Chelmsford (6f) as she finished fifth of eight. Needs to find more to hit the frame. Others appeal more.
Harbour Watch filly who was foaled on March 21 and cost 1,500 guineas a foal. Her dam was successful over 6f as a two-year-old in Germany. Is a sister Duchess Ravenwaves who scored over 1m3½f. Wears the hood on debut. One to watch.
Hot Streak filly who was foaled on March 15. Her dam scored over 5½f as a two-year-old which suggests she could have success this year. Market likely to be a good pointer to her chances of success on debut.
Has finished a long way down the field in her three starts so far. She was fourth of five last time at Bath over 5f but was 11½L away when going off at 50/1. Wears the hood here. Hard to make a case for on what she has shown so far.
Was much better on her third career start last time at this track over 5f when second of 10. Steps up in trip which may suit as she was staying on strongly on her previous outing. One to consider as she is open to improvement.
Has been prominent in the market in both of her two starts so far where has showed some promise without success. She was fifth of nine on her debut at Newbury (7f) and then finished second of nine last time at Lingfield (6f) on the AW. Big player.
Forecasts
Special Secret (10/3), Onassis (7/2), Clegane (4/1), Love Powerful (6/1), Company Minx (6/1), Caspian Queen (8/1), Dutch Painting (16/1), Egotistic (50/1), Hot Hot Hot (50/1), Edge Of The Bay (50/1), Half Of Seven (66/1), Hot Poppy (100/1)
COMPANY MINX was successful over this distance last time where she scored despite running green at times. She looks open to further improvement which gives her a great chance of following up here to record back-to-back wins. Onassis has shown enough promise on her two starts so far to indicate she is a smart filly, particularly last time on the AW at Lingfield over this trip so expect her to go close, while Special Secret is capable of bouncing back from her recent effort at Newbury to hit the frame here on her third appearance.
