Useful hurdler at around 2m over hurdles although he was well beaten in a classy (for the summer months) handicap hurdle last time. Only previous outing on the Flat came on his career debut when trained in France; place chance at best.
Promising if lightly-raced sort (only made his debut as a four-year-old) progressing from his debut stepped up 2f in trip at Haydock. Only touched off by the useful Space Walk last time; repeat of that run would easily be good enough to win this.
Started his career in bumpers (showed little) before being switched to the Flat off a year long break. Has looked less than straightforward in his two Flat starts; slow away last time (carried head high); not one to carry high hopes.
Pedigree suggests that stamina rather than speed will be his forte although his form so far is only of a modest level. Never a threat over 1m4f at Doncaster last time he faces a stiff task here but at least will be eligible for a handicap mark after
Has a pedigree that has plenty of stamina within it and the 1m2f he made his debut over at Newbury was always going to be on the short side. Stepped up 2f here better is expected although he may need more time; should flourish at some stage.
Form so far has looked modest but he does have quite an appealing pedigree although he'll be of more interest in handicaps after this run. Showed more than on his debut last time; will appreciate this extra 2f, looks one who has a frame chance.
May well have been flattered by her fourth on debut when a 50-1 shot at Bath over 1m. Did at least show some ability; now stepped up 4f in trip and should progress albeit at a modest rate.
Hinted at ability on her debut over 1m4f (slow away) looking one for the longer term and followed that up with a modest effort at Goodwood when dropped back 2f. Returned to her original trip but will need to show more to get involved.
Cheap buy out of David Simcock's yard when she was unraced there were definite signs of ability on her debut at Windsor over 1m2f (started 100-1). Needed experience (handled considerately); will surely be of interest when she has a mark.

Paths Of Glory (1/6), Cochise (4/1), Sherwood Forrester (9/1), All Yours (12/1), Champ Ayr (14/1), Eighteenhundred (25/1), Voice Of Salsabil (33/1), Zest Of Zambia (40/1), Lady Of Mercia (50/1), De Beau Tant (66/1), Zaydanides (80/1)
Three-year-olds have taken this contest in three of the past four years but despite having seven representatives this year they may struggle to defeat PATHS OF GLORY who ran a fine race to be second last time conceding lumps of weight at Haydock. A repeat of that run will make him very hard to stop. None of the other older horses make much appeal and the dangers lurk amongst the unexposed three-year-olds with Cochise and Sherwood Forrester looking the main players in that department. A close eye for the future should also be kept on Zest Of Zambia and Champ Ayr both of whom will be interesting in handicaps.
