Scored over 7f as a juvenile but no luck since. Has struggled in race at up to a mile of late and takes a big step up in trip. Not an obvious stayer and has her fair share of weight to contend with too.
Landed 1m4f handicaps at Sligo and Dundalk last year. Respectable first two efforts this term in listed company but mixed messages from two subsequent starts, including over two miles last time. Eased 1lb, yard still in form, so not out of it.
Nicely bred Iffraaj filly who landed Curragh mile handicap last year off 93. Disappointing in three runs this term but handicapper has eased her 2lb since latest effort. Step up in trip may bring about improvement.
Stayed on well to win Ballinrobe 1m5f handicap last time off 5lb lower mark and has every chance of following up if in similar mood. No reason why she shouldn't go very close.
Slight step up in trip may help having stayed on steadily over extended 1m2f last time at Down Royal. Yard continues in tremendous form so a bold show looks on the cards off 1lb lower mark.
Stable companion of Flicker Flame. Only win from 10 attempts came in Galway 7f maiden in heavy ground last year. Not disgraced in Naas listed event last time and appears to stay this trip. 4lb lower than last handicap outing.
Easily landed Navan 1m2f handicap on final start of last term but was raised a whopping 17lb and has struggled in three handicaps since. Down 3lb following poor effort at Roscommon last time.
Didn't progress last term after close third in Curragh mile maiden on debut. Won first time out this campaign though in Gowran maiden over extended 9f, but wel lheld in good company last two starts. First run in handicap and is interesting.
Won two handicaps at up to 1m4f for Ed Walker last year then sold to current connections for 35,000 guineas. Narrowly beaten on Irish debut at Dundalk in February off 6lb higher but not so good there last twice. Return to turf may help.
Forecasts
Echo Park (3/1), Ciao (7/2), Flicker Flame (7/2), Flowering Peach (5/1), Elleanthus (10/1), Terzetto (12/1), Divine Approach (14/1), Shekiba (16/1), Trevena (25/1)
An interesting handicap in which narrow preference is for FLOWERING PEACH, who drops into a handicap for the first time off a feasible mark. Flicker Flame won in good style recently and represents a very big threat off just a 5lb higher mark, while her stable companion Eleanthus also has claims having faced stiff tasks of late. Trevena and Ciao have the form to suggest they can get involved, while the drop in trip could help Echo Park.
- Flowering Peach
- Flicker Flame
- Trevena
