German soft ground maiden winner over an extended 1m early last year but has shown very little for this yard over a variety if trips so far. Undergoes another headgear change (blinkers replace cheekpieces); mark falling others more persuasive.
Yet to win a race and modest enough but has posted a couple of respectable efforts of late when finishing third over a shorter trip here, also at Yarmouth (1m6f). Mark eased again, expected to be thereabouts although a stiffer test would suit better.
Dual course winner last year (one success over C&D), slips back below his last winning mark, ran respectably over shorter here last time. Showed on his previous run over C&D that this test suits him better; holds primary claims at his favoured venue.
Gained a second career win at Lingfield (AW) in May off this mark over 2m springing back to form; failed to quite match that performance since apart from a second (penultimate outing). Fairly treated, part to play if he produces his best form.
Surprise 25-1 winner when scoring over C&D to record his sole victory so far last September. Not disgraced after that over a variety of trips; ran no sort of race over 1m4f on reappearance at Chepstow; others have more solid claims.
A record of 0-21 is probably enough to ward off any potential backers with a whole string of AW runs this year producing limited performances bar one glimmer at Kempton in February over 2m. In essence he's only modest at best; out of sorts currently.
Irish raider who travels here with a 1-22 record but was a fair handicapper at his best. The impact he's made since 2017 has been very limited at best, little chance on current evidence but a market check is still advised.

Lafilia (5/2), Filament Of Gold (11/4), Butterfield (7/2), Sea's Aria (6/1), Oborne Lady (7/1), Street Jester (8/1), Demophon (8/1), Delaire (20/1)
None of these have cast iron claims and many will find the easiest solution to side with Filament Of Gold who has recorded two victories at this location and posted a solid enough fifth here last time over a shorter trip. He won’t be far away but there may just be a little more value in siding with BUTTERFIELD in the hope that the race is soundly run and provides him with the test of stamina that he undoubtedly needs. Sea’s Aria is another who can get involved if this turns into an endurance test with the market needing to be monitored on Delaire. His recent form wouldn’t impress but Irish raiders have done well in recent low-grade handicaps and some market interest would not surprise.
