Busy and consistent gelding equally effective on turf or the AW. Last two efforts in defeat at Thirsk and Doncaster represent some of the best form on show in this contest. Should give a good account of himself.
Has been slowly improving this season culminating in a fine effort when second at Goodwood on easy going over this trip. A reproduction of that form will see him run a big race. On the downside he is a little inconsistent these days.
Won on the AW at Newcastle in April and has posted two reasonable performances since at Ascot and Doncaster. Definite chance if still in the same mood for trainer who does well at this track.
Not really got competitive since leaving Paul Cole earlier this season. Chance on best of his form but no real sign he is ready to win again any time soon. Suited by this trip and expected going.
Ran no sort of raace last time out at York having previously postedthree solid efforts at Thirsk, Pontefract and Newcastle. Possibly better suited to the minimum trip but has chances if back to his best.
Has not been the most consistent of late though his best recent effort did come last time out at Windsor. Has a squeak on the best of form from last season but others preferred.
Very good effort last time out at Haydock over this trip on soft ground and starting to look very well handicapped. Can throw in the odd poor race but if on top of his game he looks a lively contender.
Put a poor seasonal reappearance run at Thirsk behind him when scoring well at the same track earlier this month. More to do at the weights but difficult to write off especially with faster ground expected to suit.
Still to get off the mark but ran reasonably well on his handicap debut at Haydock last time out on heavy ground. Should be winning races soon but may need to be given a bit of relief from the handicapper.
Has not particularly enjoyed returning to turf after running reasonably well on the AW in the winter. Showed slight sign of a return to form last time out at Haydock but needs to improve again on that effort to get competitive.

MI CAPRICHO is in the form of his life and can land a hat-trick in a race were there are not blessed with in-form rivals. The step back in trip is a slight concern but if overcoming that he is the one to beat. Athollblair Boy has a big weight burden but has been showing good form of late and is certainly due another win. If Gullane One can show some more improvement then he is more than capable of following up his recent Thirsk win. Mutafarrid might be a lively outsider to take a closer look at.
