£29,000 yearling; 5/1 when finishing 11th of 17 on debut in the Brocklesby at Doncaster (5f, good); off since (80 days) and tries a new trip on his second career start; brother to the 1m winner Vincy.

14/1
Dwelt and always in rear on debut at Doncaster (6½f, good to firm) earlier this month; stable number one on jockey bookings, but like Bosun's Chair he also needs to progress quickly in order to play a positive role.
Fifth foal from an unraced dam; brother to the 1m+ juvenile scorer Anabel; half-brother to two winners, Adele (1m3f-1m5½f) and Addicted to You (1m4f-2m); no real surprise that he makes his debut at a track with an uphill finish over 7½f.

4/1
50,000gns juvenile; it's arguable as to whether or not he'll be ideally suited by this trip judged upon what we've witnessed to date (5f-6f), although the application of a hood could just help him settle better; watching brief.

7/1
8,500gns foal, 19,000gns juvenile; first foal from a 7f-1m placed dam who was a sister to the 1m2f AW winner El Ghazwani; with a respected yard so merits a market check.

6/4
Dandy Man colt; 50,000gns foal; started 11/4 on recent debut at Haydock (7f, heavy) when finishing 8+L third of six to Juan Elcano; obvious chance in a weaker race with trainer Archie Watson in excellent form at present.

50/1
Low-key in two starts to date, including over 5f here (good); half-sister to the 6f-7½f Italian winner Haughmond so could fare better over this longer trip (albeit certainly needs to); stablemate of Coast Of Dubai.

40/1
Holy Roman Emperor filly (€19,000 yearling); 100/1 when struggling come the business end of the race on debut at Haydock (7f, good to firm) last month.

Forecasts

World Title (6/4), Royal Council (4/1), Lord Of The Alps (6/1), Trickydickysimpson (7/1), Coast Of Dubai (8/1), Northern Hope (11/1), Little Ted (14/1), Richard Of Cambria (33/1), Roman's Empress (40/1), Lady Erimus (50/1), Bosun's Chair (50/1)

Verdict

Archie Watson has his string in fine form at present, and the Adam McNamara-ridden WORLD TITLE could well be the solution to this opening juvenile contest. He bumped into a couple of potentially useful rivals at Haydock earlier this month when finishing third to Juan Elcano (Kevin Ryan) and Subjectivist (Mark Johnston), and on paper this looks to be a weaker contest. Those aforementioned trainers are also represented in this race by Coast of Dubai/Lady Erismus and Lord Of The Alps respectively, with the Johnston-trained runner expected to need every yard of this stiff 7½f trip.
