Underwhelming performances as a two-year-old. Was showing improved form last time out at Chelmsford until fading quite badly in the final furlong. No obvious argument for her to improve here.
Has arguably improved for each run this season with competent efforts at Thirsk, Ripon and Wolverhampton. Handled soft ground on her debut as a two-year-old. Low draw on expected going could be to her advantage.
Has been tried over a variety of trips, winning just the once over an extended 7f at Newcastle before narrowly beaten three days later at Kempton. Took a while to come to hand last season though so doubts on reappearance perhaps.
Dual Wolverhampton winner who showed his recent well-being when not beaten far over this trip at Ripon. Expected going is an unknown but if he handles it then definite chance.
Another yet to race on the expected going. Won well last time out on fast ground over this course and distance and previously run a good race in defeat at Redcar under similar conditions. Excellent chance if handling conditions.
Best effort this season was on fast ground over this course and distance. Ran even better last season (fine effort at Wolverhampton over 6f stands out). Yet to race on anything slower than good. First -time equipment here.
Busy AW gelding who tends to run his race but rarely gets his head in front - has won twice but one of them was a two runner race). Fairly consistent and edging down the weights. Only effort on soft ground last year did not inconvenience him.
Yet to encounter a soft surface. Improved on his reappearance run at Chepstow when not beaten too far at Wolverhampton latest. Still to get his head in front and may have to wait for a weaker race for his first success.
Was in better form last season including not running too badly at Newmarket on soft ground. On the overall balance of form, however, there are others in the field with a much better chance of winning.

JOSIEBOND is the selection given her progressive recent form and ability to handle the surface. Deconso is another in good form and would hold every chance if handling this surface. Sweet Forgetme Not is given an outsiders chance in first-time blinkers. She may handle the ground now she has had some racecourse experience on it. Question mark about many of the others as they have yet to race on a soft surface.
