3-4 at this track, most recently landing C&D success off 3lb lower mark on penultimate start. Beaten favourite at Goodwood last time and drops back down in grade here.

Won here over a shade further off 5lb lower mark last summer before following up at Brighton. In the frame in four of last five starts and is closely weighted with The Daley Express on April running.

Won three times at Goodwood last summer but has two wins to his name at this track as well from the previous campaign. First start for eight months and pulled too hard at Windsor recently but that should have blown the cobwebs away.

10-time sprint winner who made it 3-8 at this track when winning here last timem scoring by a nose after making all off a 3lb lower mark. This looks a tougher task but is in good heart at present.

Hasn't hit the target since scoring at Kempton in October 2017, but has now fallen to 8lb below that mark. Fair second at Musselburgh earlier this term and not disgraced last two starts either.

Fair juvenile winning well at both Windsor and Sandown last term but not yet convinced he's trained on due to three moderate runs so far. Handicapper has eased him 6lb but has something to prove at the moment.

Impressive 4-10 strike rate here but usually needs a few runs to hit peak form and was a long last of nine on seasonal return. Better effort not ruled out but others make more appeal.

Unexposed gelding who won Chepstow novice auction in May 2018 on second start and has run creditably both starts since, the latest following gelding operation on seasonal return when showed speed. Dropped 2lb and has solid each-way claims.

6f Goodwood novice winner last term before flying a little too high at Royal Ascot. Gelded during winter and not disgraced in two fair handicaps since. Yard in good nick so warrants respect off falling mark.

2-11 here and ran respectably having tried to make all when runner-up over a touch further last time out. Raised 1lb but should be thereabouts once again.

Two wins as a juvenile last term and placed in two of her last three starts this campaign, including over C&D off 3kb higher mark last month. Handicapper has given her a chance and she should not be far away.

Gone close in both recent starts at this venue and handles quick ground well. Has three course wins to her name and decent draw augurs well for another good display.

One-time fair sprint handicapper took advantage of lowly mark when popping up at Brighton last week. Made all and won well there so has to be considered under 4lb penalty for shrewd connections.

Verdict

There are so many in this race who go well at the track and there are limitless permutations. Tentative choice is the relativey unexposed WHATAGUY who shaped well enough on his seasonal return and could develop into a fair performer. Waseem Farris and Peace Dream are handicapped to dead-heat having been separated by just a nose here last time, while The Daley Express and Little Boy Blue have 'previous' here as well. King Crimson is in form, and most of the others have a shot, but Enchanted Linda is one with potential to improve along with Mutawaffer.
