Placed in Royal Hunt Cup and Group 3 Superior Mile last season but far from consistent and has run poorly in four starts this season. Gets a welcome drop in grade but plenty to prove at present. First-time visor added.

One win and only out of the first three on two occasions from 10 starts for Andre Fabre in France. Bought for €75,000 for connections who have done well with overseas acquisitions. On a decent mark and one to note in the betting on season debut.

Seven-time winner but yet to add to that this year in a busy period of nine starts. Handles any ground and on a consistent run of form off a decent enough mark at present. Likely to be involved again.

Lightly-raced for his age but his sole win to date came in a maiden back in 2016. Third in the Listed Dee Stakes in 2017 but unraced until two poor efforts back in May Plenty to prove at present.

Finished off with back-to-back wins early last year from just four starts but never settled when struggling on handicap debut at York following a 338-day break. Not one to give up on yet but more needed off this current mark.

Forecasts

Masham Star (9/4), Mutafani (3/1), Bubble And Squeak (5/1), Escobar (11/2), Bless Him (6/1), Circus Couture (7/1), Baltic Baron (7/1), Max Zorin (9/1)

Verdict

There's enough pace on offer to suggest that this should be truly run which is what suits BUBBLE AND SQUEAK and she remains an improving filly. Masham Star is reliable and although he's overdue another win, it's hard to see him not going close. Baltic Baron has an absence to overcome on his British debut but market support would be interesting.
  1. Bubble And Squeak
  2. Masham Star
  3. Baltic Baron
