Listed winner at Goodwood a year ago, but ended 2018 out of form, and only beat one home on return at Newmarket. Easing in the weights, but others more persuasive.
Progressive sort who made all at Ripon in April, and battled well when going down narrowly at Chester (1m2½f) last time. Should be competitive assuming he can get across from a wide draw.
Has made an excellent start to the year, winning handicaps at 1¼m at Newbury and Newmarket. Has gone up 12lb for those successes, so needs to pull more out of the hat here, but not taken lightly.
Not beaten far at Wolverhampton on his penultimate outing, but never really threatened in a messy race, and has been well held otherwise this year. Plenty to prove.
Useful form for John Gosden last year, but left that yard after a couple of poor efforts in the autumn, and well beaten on both runs for new yard this term.
Excuses on his return in Ireland, and has run well to be beaten ½L or less on two of his last three starts, most recently at York ten days ago. Creeping up the weights, but commands respect in current form.
Won a 16 runner maiden at Newbury on his second start with the front two well clear. Has run creditably despite racing freely on both starts since, and this unexposed gelding can do better still, especially if settling better in a first-time hood.
Just one win to his name, but ran well to be second in the Thirsk Hunt Cup two starts back. Looked awkward when well beaten at York last time, however, and needs to show that was nothing more than a blip.
Dual Kempton winner last year for John Gosden, and put up his best effort for his current yard when second at Ripon behind Fayez last time. Needs to step up again in this better race, and wide draw could be awkward.
Runner-up in this race last year off 2lb higher after running down the field in Victoria Cup at Ascot, and is following same path now. Good third in Thirsk Hunt Cup prior to that, and capable of a big run.
Second over 1¼m at Doncaster in March, and bounced back with a career best when third to The Glasgow Warrior at Hamilton (1½m) last time. Must build on that, but no surprise to see him improve further this season.
Won twice at up to 1¼m for this yard last summer before losing his way. Again well held on York return, but needed that run, and has fallen below his last winning mark, so isn't a forlorn hope.
Won a 1m nursery at Doncaster in September, but he's not been able to build on that, and was again too free when fifth of 10 to Pogo in a 1m handicap at Newmarket on his reappearance. Stamina a worry at this trip.
Has made the frame on all four starts this season, and reliable on the whole, but he does his running at a lower level as a rule, and easy enough to oppose from out of the weights here.

AL MUFFRIH has the most scope of these and will prove his mark lenient as long as he settles better, with a hood likely to help in that regard. He's preferred to last year's runner-up Nicholas T and Epaulement, the latter needing to overcome a wide draw, but with the natural speed to do so.
