46-race maiden with an official rating of 44; placed in a 7f Class 6 handicap at Chelmsford in April; trainer saddles four runners.
24-race maiden with an official rating of 39; 80/1 when a tailed-off last of 12 at Wolverhampton (1m1f, Class 6) latest; stablemate of Mr Wing.
Six-race maiden with an official rating of 43; has shown no worthwhile form to date; trainer saddles four runners.
Finished last at triple-figure odds on both bumper starts (December 2018); Flat debut wearing blinkers for a trainer who saddles four runners.
€110,000 yearling; runner up to the Roger Charlton-trained Tempus (4/6f) on debut at Wolverhampton (1m+) 18 days ago; shortlisted now trying turf for the first time.
€90,000 yearling; ninth foal; half-brother to six winners including the 7f US Grade 3 scorer Via Villaggio; keeping on sixth of 13 to Fox Chairman on debut at Newbury (1m, good to soft) six weeks ago; can improve.
No Nay Never colt (€325,000 yearling); beaten favourite on both starts to date, but has shown a fair standard of form; competitive on the basis of his 3L second to subsequent Newbury scorer Jubiloso at Chelmsford (6f); tries a new trip.
Unraced stablemate of Guandi; €20,000 foal (30,000gns vendor yearling); eighth foal; half-brother to four winners including the Scandanavian Listed winner Tatoosh (1m).
Canford Cliffs filly; out the back on both starts (7f-1m+); could show some improvement now encountering a sound racing surface, but not considered as a realistic winner or place possible.
Ten-race maiden with an official rating of 42; 100/1, behind and outpaced from halfway in a 6f Class 6 handicap at Ripon last Sunday; trainer saddles four runners.
Toronado filly (5,000gns foal); slowly away and never dangerous on debut when finishing seventh of nine (33/1) to San Carlos in a 7f novice median auction at Chelmsford.
Forecasts
Hero Hero (4/7), Bardo Contiguo (5/2), Guandi (6/1), Mogsy (14/1), Torochica (25/1), Caledonian Gold (66/1), Dolly McQueen (66/1), Lambrini Lullaby (100/1), Just Heather (100/1), Isabella Red (100/1), Mr Wing (100/1), Piccolo Ramoscello (100/1)
A race stacked full of essentially very moderate horses, who quite politely won't be winning races anytime soon. The two to concentrate the efforts upon are the upped in trip No Nay Never colt Hero Hero who has seen his recent 6f Chelmsford third boosted since by both the winner (Jubiloso) and second (Dominus). However, a very slight preference is for the Roger Varian-trained BARDO CONTIGUO who shaped well when runner up on debut in a 1m+ Chelmsford maiden.
- Bardo Contiguo
