Won back-to-back races either side of the winter and while he struggled when stepped up in class for the Derby trial at Epsom last time, he could be leniently handicapped for this drop in class; could bounce back.
Has run well on each of his three starts without getting his head in front and did well to finish as close as he did last time having run close to a fast pace at Windsor. May have been let in lightly on handicap debut here.
Won twice last year and hinted at a return to form when fifth of 12 at Epsom last time. Others may be better handicapped though and he will need to improve for the step up in trip here.
Hinted at ability in a trio of starts last year and well backed for his reappearance at Goodwood for his handicap debut. Stayed on well to win that day and only has a 6lb rise to cope with; expected to be right there again.
Won on debut but hasn't really build on that since, including when fourth of seven at York in October when last seen. Needs more against these rivals up in trip here.
A course winner on his third start but he's gone backwards subsequently and never got involved when last of 10 here on his reappearance last month. Up in trip and others preferred.
Best effort have come with soft in the going description. Not at his best at Redcar towards the end of last season and needs to improve now stepped up in trip on return.
Forecasts
Global Heat (6/4), Takumi (5/2), Sameem (3/1), Sootability (14/1), Sir Victor (16/1), Bullion Boss (25/1), Off Piste (33/1)
Takumi was well backed prior to his success at Goodwood last time and he did that in taking style but SAMEEM may be a class above these. He did too much too soon in the Derby trial at Epsom when last seen but he sticks on the same handicap mark as a result and he may be able to resume progress here. Global Heat is an obvious danger after a good second at Windsor last time out.
