Never one to leave out of calculations around here (two-time C&D winner) she finished behind the surprise winner (at the time) Atalanta Queen last time. A turnaround in the weights should draw them closer here and one for the shortlist.
Fibresand newcomer who won over 2f further last year off this mark and looked to offer something to build on given his return to action in March. Failed to reproduce anything like that form; new headgear tried, has a questionable win-to-run ratio.
Progressive individual (two wins in his last three starts) who is best under positive tactics exploiting an easy lead to score at Lingfield over 1m. Carries a 6lb penalty making his Fibresand debut; pedigree suggests he should cope with Fibresand.
Acts around here but has often flattered to deceive despite two course victories (one over C&D). His losing run is starting to get rather worrying (stretches back 20 starts); work to do with Atalanta Queen on their last meeting; cheekpieces return.
Half-sister to three winners and given her pedigree ought to be capable of better stepping into handicaps off a basement mark (has had some very moderate Fibresand experience). Given connections any positive market support should be noted.
Form figures here read 5678 (getting progressively worse); was always behind over 5f last time in a seller beaten over 20L. Hard to pin down any facets of his form that would give him a chance; back in a visor stepping up in trip again.
Fibresand/handicap debut having shown not even a hint of ability so far in three starts last year in minor events at up to 1m4f. Drops down in trip but hard to believe that will produce the necessary progress needed.
Consistent sort who looks to have found her level in these low-grade handicaps; ran a sound enough race behind a well supported winner over 7f here last time. Usually likes to force the pace (will face competition here); should be thereabouts.
Modest maiden who remains with little tangible form to show for her efforts of late. Finished sixth here last time over 7f but didn't give the impression she was crying out for this 1m; others appeal more.
Newcomer to this surface who has lacked any sort of spark of late since returning from a break both runs on the Tapeta at Newcastle. Not really one to be interested in given that there are some proven Fibresand performers in this.
Third here over C&D on her only start on Fibresand she didn't run too badly at Nottingham last time (up in trip to 1m2f). Her form isn't really progressing though and others present a more persuasive case.

Capofaro (2/1), Port Soif (9/2), Zorro's Girl (5/1), Atalanta Queen (5/1), Crazy Spin (6/1), Cliff Bay (8/1), Cat Royale (9/1), Luath (12/1), Sunbright (16/1), Seafaring Girl (16/1), It's How We Roll (20/1), Jagerbond (25/1), Debbi's Dream (100/1), Mr Wing (250/1)
For the grade an interesting heat with Atalanta Queen sure to be of interest having beaten a couple of her re-opposing rivals recently although she has to cope with a 5lb penalty if she does take her chance today after yesterday victory over 7f where Cliff Bay was third. He shaped well having fallen to a lowly mark and has every chance of reversing the form if he does turn up for the gig. Fibresand newcomer and front-runner Capofaro is progressing well and should be in the mix if he takes to the surface but it’s another course regular PORT SOIF who gets the vote. She a dual C&D winner and although she has to reverse form with Atalanta Queen she is capable of doing so.
- Port Soif
- Cliff Bay
- Atalanta Queen
