Plenty of promise in four starts over 1m, three of them on the AW at Kempton. First run this year and is fitted with a hood for step up in distance.
First run in a handicap and seasonal reappearance when last of six over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last month. Connections waste no time in dropping her in trip.
Won on first two starts for Mark Johnston, but lost her way in three subsequent runs. Starts out for a new trainer off 4lb lower mark than for her last outing in November, so it will be interesting to see how she fares.
Clear signs of ability in three runs as a juvenile. Seasonal reappearance and first run in a handicap so market will be the best guide to her chance.
Off the mark at the sixth attempt when winning a nursery over an extended mile at this track in the autumn. Up 3lb and has her first run since, but is open to improvement over this longer trip.
By no means disgraced in three starts in maiden/novice company last season. Interesting upped in distance on handicap debut and is one to keep an eye on in the betting.
Two placed efforts in maiden/novice company last summer. Up in distance for handicap debut and stable has been among the winners.
Fair return to action when fourth of 16, albeit beaten over 12L, in a Windsor novice contest over this trip. Should be sharper this time and opening handicap mark looks fair.
Not devoid of promise in three runs over 7f and 1m in the autumn. Bred to appreciate this distance and represents a powerful trainer/jockey combination.
Placed twice in six runs as a juvenile, but was not at her best when last seen at Chelmsford in December. Bit to prove on seasonal reappearance, but longer trip may eke out improvement.
Easily best effort so far when ½L second of seven in a C&D handicap earlier this month. Up 2lb, but has to be on the premises if continuing her improvement.
Never dangerous when sixth of 12 on return to action in a 1m handicap at Windsor. That was her first run for this stable since leaving Archie Watson's yard and improvement is on the cards if this longer trip suits.
Only limited promise in three runs from 7f to 1m as a juvenile. Fitted with a hood on return to action and could do better over this longer trip in handicap company.
Unplaced in five runs, latterly when finishing in mid-division in a 1m handicap at Windsor on seasonal reappearance. Down 2lb and tries a longer distance, but others make greater appeal.
Forecasts
Navigate By Stars (4/1), Arctic Ocean (9/2), Say Nothing (15/2), Queen Constantine (8/1), Guroor (8/1), Cuban Sun (10/1), Eesha's Smile (12/1), Amorously (16/1), Patchouli (20/1), Petits Fours (20/1), Canavese (20/1), Tasman Sea (25/1), Sukalia (33/1), Rainbow Spirit (66/1)
Say Nothing and Canavese are tempting on their first runs in a handicap and several others are probably leniently treated given they have so few miles on the clock. However, the proven form of QUEEN CONSTANTINE at this track is worth plenty and with improvement on the cards over this longer trip, she looks the logical choice. Cuban Sun, Arctic Ocean and Amorously also make plenty of appeal.
- Queen Constantine
- Cuban Sun
- Arctic Ocean
