Overcame plenty of trouble in running to win by a short head on debut, at Kempton (7f) last month. Disappointing subsequently under same 7lb penalty he carries here but sure he can do better.
11th of 12 here on lone start at two. Can't recommend more than a watching brief here then.
Bated Breath newcomer a half-brother to seven winners inc Phoenix Tower (7f-1m1f inc Gr 3). Excellent pedigree and in good hands so market can guide but bold bid likely.
Dark Angel colt finished sixth in lone two-year-old start at Newbury and fifth in return at Kempton. Step up on either needed here.
Beat just two rival combined in four juvenile starts. Will rightly be a huge price.
£80,000 yearling by Havana Gold made a pleasing start when fifth at Newbury last season. Wouldn't need to improve massively here and given yard's debutants often need their first run he has to be respected.
Never involved when 11th of 13 on debut at Nottingham last season. Hopeful he shows more but obviously can't be recommended.
Oasis Dream colt has finished midfield in both starts to date, both on AW. Will need to improve if he's to play more than a minor role here.
Third foal; half-brother to moderate 1m AW winner Purple Paddy by Assertive. Best watched on debut.
Forecasts
Songkran (6/4), Jilbaab (9/4), Biometric (10/3), Dargel (8/1), Osho (14/1), Keith (33/1), Aiguillette (50/1), Purple Tommy (50/1), Dark Impulse (100/1)
This doesn't appear as strong as division 1 and debutant BIOMETRIC could be the answer. From a prolific family this Juddmonte home-bred has a whole host of useful siblings to make a persuasive case that he will likely be useful. Two-year-old winner Songkran disappointed next but mustn't be underestimated. Jilbaab will have learned plenty on debut where he showed some ability and he is also worth consideration.
- Biometric
- Songkran
- Jilbaab
