Recent C&D winner who has other good course for to her name her last win completing a hat-trick of February successes. Found her good run of form coming to an end last time in a better grade than this; will appreciate the ease back to this level.
Off the mark at the 16th attempt in a weak handicap affair she duly followed up over 6f here with a career-best effort last time. That success came despite being out of the handicap; should continue her upward curve here off 4lb higher.
Her only win so far has come over 1m on the AW for a former stable (off a 2lb higher mark). Offered little so far for this yard in two starts finishing last of 12 on her most recent start at Lingfield; lacks the recent form to be considered for this.
First start for new yard returning from a long absence; sold from the John Ryan yard for 4,000 guineas. In good form in 2016 (completed a handicap 1m hat-trick off marks in the 50's); hard to know what to expect now; market to provide a guide.
Resumed winning ways on his penultimate start confirming the promise of his previous outing to score off a career-low mark at Lingfield (1m) on second run for this yard. Beaten the day after when trying a quick follow up; failed to get run of race.
C&D winner at the end of 2018 (good effort in first-time hood) she shaped well after a break at Newcastle last time (possibly made her run on the wrong part of the track). That run will have brought her on and she's one for the shortlist.
Turned in his best performance since 2016 when scoring over C&D on his penultimate outing overcoming an unfavourable passage off a 3lb lower mark. Not in the same form last time again over C&D (not well placed; raced freely); needs to bounce back.
Course winner twice over different distances but proving hard to win with of late and his last three performances have all been well below-par. Beaten very quickly last time here over further; hard to build a cogent case for him as things stand.
Multiple course winner (once over C&D) whose January win ended a lengthy losing run for him and the yard. Not seen to quite the same effect in three starts since and although he has won at this trip the suspicion is 6f suits him far better.
Lightly-raced modest maiden who this stable are yet to get to grips with (type they do well with though once the key is found). Far too free when last seen on turf in the autumn of 2018; makes his AW debut and best watched despite the falling mark.
Both her wins have come at 5f with her form beyond that trip reading 0-5; this will be her second try over 7f. Failed to convince over this far last time at Chelmsford having run poorly the time before over 5f; others appeal more.
Modest handicapper who was last in winning form in 2017 scoring twice over C&D and once over this trip on Fibresand. Career punctuated by stable changes and breaks since then; returns from another absence, best watched for now.
Forecasts
Magical Molly Joe (9/4), Bazzat (5/1), Clement (7/1), Naralsaif (8/1), Mystical Moon (8/1), Seaforth (17/2), Muraadef (10/1), Little Miss Daisy (14/1), Blue Rocks (18/1), Indian Affair (25/1), Prince of Time (33/1), Formiga (40/1)
Not many in this make that much appeal and it offer a good opportunity for MYSTICAL MOON to continue her winning spree dropping back to easier company having produced two convincing performances. Magical Molly Joe will have come on for her Newcastle run which showed her in good heart despite the fact that she had to challenge on the wrong part of the track with the winning action unfolding away from her; she’s better than he seventh place last time. Naralsaif isn’t one to take lightly and she will appreciate a return to this level while both Clement and Seaforth have chances if they were to get a soundly-run race.
- Mystical Moon
- Magical Molly Joe
- Naralsaif
