Both career wins come at Newmarket's July course over this trip. Form rather tailed off last season and starts out here from a draw which restricts jockey's options.
Won twice last season including off this mark most recently. Midfield most of the time towards the end of the campaign and draw on the wing not ideal here.
Won three times on AW this winter but record on turf reads none from 10. Arrives fit and well where many might need the run but turf record hard to forget.
Handled himself extremely well at Galway (7f, yielding) when finishing a close up but weakening fifth of 16 to Safe Voyage in most recent start last August. Lengthy absence then but will prefer this likely sounder surface and respected.
Ended last season with back-to-back seconds at Ayr and Redcar. Only 1lb higher here for reappearance and having won first time out last season he has one of the most appealing profiles here.
Ended last season in good order following a Newcastle AW win with a solid third at Catterick. Handicap at present is high enough however and consensus is that 6f his best trip.
Made it third time lucky when scoring decisively in a Lingfield novice event in January but far too keen when a disappointing favourite for subsequent handicap debut at Kempton. Bigger field here however should help and merits respect.
Starts out for new yard 2lb below last winning mark (won four times for Amanda Perratt). Ended last season with a couple of midfield efforts but had wind op since. Jockey booking catches the eye so highly respected.
Ended a light 2018 campaign by finishing midfield at Chelmsford last October. More needed than in any of his runs last season but changed yards and still could have untapped potential.
Won this race a year ago and followed up at Catterick next. Things didn't go to plan but as a result can race off 1lb lower mark than a year ago and with champion jockey booked he looks sure to make a bold bid.
Won Chelmsford handicap debut last June and looked likely to soon follow up but promise petered out as the season progressed and now would be speculative to say he could be well treated.
Won once for Ralph Beckett but continued to knock on the door until last two starts of 2018. Hopefully now refreshed by the winter break and certainly capable off this mark if that's the case.
Built on promise of second start to end time with Ger Lyons in a win at Dundalk last November. First time in a handicap and for new connections and very much unexposed.
Won twice at Thirsk over 7f last season before good run in Ayr Bronze Cup and again in final start. Handicapper gives a bit back so mot ruled out here by any means.
Won at Thirsk on soft ground last September and although she ran well enough after the suggestion was that the handicapper had her grasp. Soft ground seems favoured and that doubtful here.
Not beaten far into sixth in this year and finally gained first success of the campaign at 12th time of asking when beating Queen Penn at Ayr. Not quite as good afterwards and looks too exposed for a race like this.
Win in a 20-runner York handicap last season the highlight of an otherwise largely forgettable campaign. 2lbb lower than that win as he returns but would need to be right at his best here.
Lone win came in 2017 for Roger Charlton but running well in defeat on AW this winter. Return to turf no problem here and with fitness assured he can't be ruled out.
Dual winner returned from 626 days off when ninth of 14 at Newcastle. Hoped for progress next but could only muster eighth of nine so question marks aplenty here.

QUEEN'S SARGENT ended last season in fine form and having also won first time out last term Kevin Ryan's charge is worth chancing in this vast field. Obviously there are dangers aplenty including last year's winner Right Action who is back on a good mark, unexposed Capriolette and Saluti who looks the pick of Paul Midgley's four runners.

- Right Action
- Capriolette
