The addition of cheekpieces appeared to bring about some further progress in THUNDER BUDDY and although he has t cope with a slight rise in grade this time his form last time does look sound enough to see him cope with this better grade. Several of these have good course form although the trip may not suit the likes of Crosse Fire and Going Native. Port Soif is another who acts well on this unique surface and she looks the main danger despite being out if the handicap. Sooqaan hasn’t run well of late but this five-time course winner is hard to write off given his record here.
