€30,000 foal (18,000gns vendor yearling); first foal out of a 5f winning dam; watching brief advised on debut over an extended 1m1f; stablemate of Necoleta.
12,000gns foal, 65,000gns yearling; second foal out of a dam who was a half-sister to the French 1m2f+ Group 1 winner Ask For The Moon.
1,000gns yearling; sent off at 80/1 when finishing a distant fourth of seven to Marhaban (Shamrad sixth) over C&D last month.
Galileo colt who holds a Derby entry; second foal out of a French 7½f-1m2f winner (closely related to the French 2000 Guineas second Catcher In The Rye); wears a tongue-tie; stable saddled a taking debut winner at Newcastle on Friday (Severnaya).
35,000gns juvenile; has failed to make much of an impression in two starts so far (1m-1m2f); the blinkers which were worn on both of those occasions are now discarded; stablemate of Nathanielhawthorne.
Sold unraced for €9,000 in July 2018; sent off at 40/1 when finishing a distant sixth of seven to Marhaban (Kiowa fourth) over C&D last month.
Fourth foal out of a 1m2f winning dam (Ellbeedee); half-sister to the 6f juvenile winner Bournemouth Belle; left Hugo Palmer unraced for 9,000gns in December 2018; stablemate of Atlantic City.
€57,000 yearling; sixth foal; half-sister to a couple of winners, including the Listed-placed 6f-1m scorer Thanx For Nothing; trainer 11-57 (19%) with his 3yo's at Wolverhampton over the duration of the past five years.
£10,000 juvenile; second foal out of a 7f-1m winner (including on the AW); worth a quick glance in the market, and possibly one to keep an eye upon for future engagements further down the line.
Left Mark Johnston for 30,000gns last month; has shown a reasonable level of ability in both starts so far, most notably when beaten two heads (third) by Liberation Day in a 7f course maiden latest.

Forecasts
Questionare (6/4), Wanaasah (3/1), Nathanielhawthorne (7/2), Shaleela's Dream (7/1), So Hi Cardi (14/1), Kiowa (33/1), Bacon's Rebellion (33/1), Atlantic City (33/1), Redemptress (33/1), Tsarmina (40/1), Necoleta (100/1), Shamrad (100/1)
John Gosden saddled the taking first-time out scorer Severnaya at Newcastle on Friday evening, and whilst there's no suggestion that the tongue-tied QUESTIONARE will necessarily have her natural ability, he's obviously the likeliest winner of this race based upon trainer reputation and AW strike-rate alone. Others worthy of consideration include the fellow debutante So Hi Cardi (Roger Charlton) and the more experienced stable-switcher Wanaasah (David Loughnane), whilst one worth keeping an eye upon for further down the line is Tsarmina (David Evans).
- Questionare
- Wanaasah
- So Hi Cardi
