Two victories this month in similar company have taken his record over C&D to 3-3. Almost all his rivals are out of form and that record is his to lose.
Yet to show the ability to match the pedigree but this will be his easiest task thus far. A market check should be considered in this grade.
Has an 1lb pull with Captain Ryan for 1L here on January 2nd but that rival has improved again since. Tends to give himself a lot to do and as a result wider draws seem to help him secure a clearer run.
Goes well on tapeta but struggling badly for form at present. Capable of better judged on his efforts last March if blinkers produce a reaction.
Has gone 23 runs without a win and he is yet to be placed on the AW. Has done all his winning during summer months so plenty to prove.
The yard's horses have been running a lot better lately and she has pieces of form that give her an outside chance. Will be fitter for her comeback run.
Behind captain Ryan on her last two starts and hard to see her turning the tables on these terms.
Ran well from 6lb out of the weights here last time and not beaten too far on his two previous outings. Goes well for this rider and has the early tactical speed to overcome a wide draw.
Sole win came under today's regular jockey at Kempton in January, but out of sorts lately and not hard to look elsewhere
Only win came back in 2015 and has shown little in three starts since wind surgery. Off five months since a poor run last time and 5lb wrong in the weights.
Fair third last week when coming from a long way back. Seems to perform better in smaller field and a draw in stall one may prove a disadvantage also. Trainer has gone 237 days and 121 runners since his last winner.

The likes of Foxy Boy,Fuel Injection and Amazing Amaya have all done enough in the past to be considered capable in this company, but it seems wise to go with the proven wellbeing of CAPTAIN RYAN who bids for a hat-trick on a track where he has an unbeaten record. Teepee Time offers each-way value, but the biggest threat will come from Storm Lighting if he does not give himself too much to do.
