Ran a cracker here over C&D two starts back off this mark. Bombed out back on turf at Nottingham last time and returns here having had a five-week break. Claims if back to his best.
Just one win to his name in 28 starts and has changed hands on numerous occasions. Has found form switched to AW in two recent starts, including close second over C&D nine days ago. Just a pound higher here and worth a look.
On a very good run of consistent form and remains on a competitive mark. Just edged out off this mark at Lingfield over a mile latest and had previously gone close first try over this C&D.
Long-standing maiden on the Flat, unsurprising flopped over hurdles at Musselburgh latest. Previously competitive over a mile on Newcastle's AW and weighted to have a chance though not one for maximum trust.
Experienced campaigner, has poor strike rate of 3-44 on the AW. Hit and miss lately and 0-5 this C&D previously, finishing last of eight when last here in March.
Winner at Newcastle four starts back over 1m but not as good here the last three starts and yet to win over this far. Others have more going for them at the moment.
Lost her maiden tag in fine style at Southwell over 7f penultimate start, coming away for an 8L success. Handicapper responded with 10lb rise and well beaten back there since over a mile. Plenty to prove still.
Hard to get right, overall record is just 4-42 and this will be his first time racing beyond 7f. Ran fair race over 6f here last time. Market check needed.
Record on the Flat is 1-21, has been toiling over hurdles lately for previous trainer. That one success came over a mile at Lingfield off a mark of 62, so potentially well-handicapped if change of scenery does the trick.
Unreliable former course winner, runner up over C&D in October. Not in the same mood at Chelmsford and Lingfield two starts since, possible can be competitive back here however if in the mood.
Filly shed her maiden tag over 7f here nine days ago on her 14th start, getting up late on despite meeting some trouble in running. Just 1lb higher now and her turf form suggests she'll stay this longer trip.
C&D winner in October and competitive in both starts since here. Tends to run this track well, though clearly not holding any secrets from the assessor.
Loyal servant, multiple C&D winner with 12 of 13 career wins at this track. Now 12-years-old and hasn't beaten a rival home in recent starts here after a summer recess. Hard to make case for now.
Forecasts
Mossy's Lodge (4/1), Final Attack (5/1), Dutch Artist (5/1), Magical Molly Joe (13/2), Champagne Rules (7/1), Voice of A Leader (10/1), Rosemay (12/1), Bond Angel (14/1), Top Offer (20/1), Satchville Flyer (20/1), Peachey Carnehan (40/1), Idol Deputy (40/1), Clive Clifton (50/1)
MAGICAL MOLLY JOE got off the mark over 7f here recently, getting up late on having met her share of trouble in mounting a challenge. That form has been boosted by a couple of her beaten rivals and, with turf form suggesting this trip will be fine, she can add to the tally from a pound higher. Mossy's Lodge, Champagne Rules and Dutch Artist are all entitled to claims while Final Attack seems almost certain to run his race as per usual. Any money for Clive Clifton on stable debut would be worth noting.
- Magical Molly Joe
- Mossy's Lodge
- Final Attack
