Finished a close fourth in a selling handicap at Brighton before disappointing back over hurdles. On a decent mark but proving hard to win with.
Returns from wind surgery following three runs for new stable over hurdles. Given a chance by the handicapper but sole win came on heavy ground and surface remains a query.
Has shown a clear preference for this C&D, winning on his last two visits here. Up 4lb but down in grade and likely more to come. Rates a leading contender.
Held his form well in two runs since his Wolverhampton win and did well to get close after a slow start at Kempton. Better suited by this trip and may still be open to improvement.
Steady progress in four starts and appreciated the switch to handicaps and a quick turf surface at Yarmouth. Open to improvement but needs to show he's as effective here.
Proving inconsistent but back now in same grade as last win which came over this C&D. More required off current mark but can't be dismissed.
Has taken advantage of a reduced mark to build on a back to form effort when stuck wide over this C&D, with wins at Chelmsford and Kempton. Remains well weighted and can make a bold bid for a hat-trick.
Eight-race maiden ran up to his best best when third over this distance at Chelmsford. Down 1lb but has lacked a change of gears where it matters and may find a couple too good again.
Only win came here over 1m but that was almost two years ago and changed stables twice since. Generally consistent and place possibilities again.
Second in a claimer on penultimate start for Rod Millman but has disappointed in two starts back in handicaps including on stable debut. Down in grade but best watched.
Just two wins from 31 starts but has shaped with more promise the last twice off this much reduced mark. Place possibilities but stable continue to struggle for winners.
Back on last winning mark but all winning form has been at shorter and hard to fancy on recent form.
Yet to get in the money in nine starts and has struggled to make in an impression lately. Remains easy to oppose.
Forecasts
Ross Raith Rover (7/2), Hackbridge (4/1), Visor (4/1), Rakematiz (7/1), Baasha (8/1), Mullarkey (10/1), Intermodal (12/1), Hawridge Glory (14/1), Pact Of Steel (16/1), Swaffham Bulbeck (16/1), Light Of Air (25/1), La Mernancia (40/1), Bookmaker (50/1)
The in-form ROSS RAITH ROVER remains the one to beat at 3lb below his highest winning mark and can take advantage of a good draw in his bid for three wins in a row. Hackbridge rates an obvious danger over this C&D while Rakematiz caught the eye after breaking poorly last time and should be involved.
- Ross Raith Rover
- Hackbridge
- Rakematiz
