Disappointing on turf since landing a gamble in May at Ascot but has won at Southwell in that time and this is his surface these days. Worth noting in market.
Gave it a good go from the front when just caught close home at Kempton last week and this drop back to the minimum trip isn't a concern. Runs off the same mark and one for the short list.
Generally seen at Chelmsford but won on last visit here on Match and remains in good heart but yet to win off a mark as high as this.
Has bounce back to form with an Ascot win then another solid effort when second in a big field at Doncaster. Switched yards since and has won before at this track.
Out of sorts this term and hard to fancy at present. Hopes rest on a return to the AW.
In good heart in the summer with a pair of wins but hasn't been in the same form of late and needs to put a tame effort last time behind her.
Building up a decent profile at this track and 6lb higher than win here three starts ago. Didn't recover from a slow start last time and a player if getting the breaks.
Well treated on the AW these days and just went off to hard last time. Probably remains in form though losing run is building up.
Not the force of old and running well in the summer when last seen without looking as though he was going to bounce back to his best but really well treated now as he is 21lb lower than last AW run. Interesting to see how he goes in the market.
Defied a 4lb rise when following up her Musselburgh win at Nottingham. Up another 5lb for her AW debut but certainly in top form.
Was sent over to Ireland this autumn and ran right up to best and not disgraced when fourth at Ascot last time. Goes well for this apprentice and another who commands respect.
Showed little in two runs this autumn after a lay off and subsequently sold to Ruth Carr for just 4,000 gns. Hard to fancy in a competitive race like this.
Showed the benefit of a wind operation when close fourth in a blanket finish at Southwell last week. That was on the back of a three months absence so entitled to be even sharper now.
Forecasts
Orion's Bow (9/2), Outrage (5/1), Moonraker (11/2), Watchable (8/1), Bowson Fred (8/1), Erissimus Maximus (8/1), El Hombre (9/1), Only Spoofing (9/1), Landing Night (14/1), Dynamo Walt (14/1), Ocelot (16/1), Midnight Malibu (28/1), Mutanaaseq (33/1)
A hot handicap and difficult to rule many out. MOONRAKER probably has more to come on this surface and just gets the nod over Outrage and Watchable in a strong race for the grade.
- Moonraker
- Outrage
- Watchable
