Made good strides in Ireland and merits consideration for her consistency alone. Stiff test under the terms of the race but knows what to do once she hits the front and would be dangerous to underestimate. Worth considering.
Hooded for her Rules debut, the mare comes into this having won an Irish point-to-point on her 2nd start in that sphere. Cost £47,000 after that, and although the yard isn't synonymous with winners in this sphere, the market may provide more clues.
Form in point-to-points has been a mixed bag but the mare was a comfortable winner last time out in that sphere and merits a cautionary betting check at least. Has a long absence to overcome though.
The form of her point-to-point win earlier in the year looks a distant memory after two moderate efforts over hurdles. Plenty to prove just now despite representing a top yard and boasting a solid jockey booking.
Didn't pose much of a serious threat in any of her four previous starts and comes into this with a lot to prove. The step up in trip might help but others appear to hold much stronger claims.
Won a bumper at Wetherby at the start of this year but her form was mainly regressive afterwards. However, the mare stepped things up a fair bit on her hurdling debut and now has more to offer. Worth a betting check at least.
Blitzed her field in a point-to-point at Tyrella (in Ireland) in January before swapping hands for £52,000 at the Cheltenham spring sales. Her yard is very capable of having one ready, so the absence since then may not be too much of a concern.
A well-related filly that looks the part on paper; her yard is going great guns just now and she certainly merits scrutiny in the betting. Shortlisted on potential alone. Needs to better her only start in a point-to-point though.
Appeals on pedigree and the obvious plus point of her trainer. Was snapped up for £28,000 after her win in a point-to-point in May and is introduced at a respectable level. Another that merits consideration if the market is on her side.
Joined her current yard after winning an Irish point-to-point but was tailed off and well beaten on debut for her current connections last month. Hard to fancy on that evidence.
Forecasts
Biddy The Boss (11/8), Millarville (3/1), She Mite Bite (7/2), My Dixie (7/1), Maebh (10/1), Ballybough Nora (20/1), Hot Ryan (50/1), Bastante (50/1), Liberty Bella (100/1), Windy Bottom (100/1)
A chance is taken on BIDDY THE BOSS being able to put her experience to good use and the consistent mare just edges a narrow vote of confidence ahead of Millarville, who holds stacks of potential and could be worth a saver if the odds permit her to be covered with an each-way investment. Maebh and She Might Bite are others worth considering as they also have their best days ahead of them.
