£120,000 son of Dark Angel who created a big impression when thrashing a 1/5 shot by 7L on debut last month over C&D. Like on his intended debut when withdrawn, he was reluctant to load but did nothing wrong in the race and looked a smart prospect.
Has shown little at big prices in a trio of maidens and in line with his breeding is likely to come into his own over staying trips next season.
Son of Iffraaj, dam a multiple winner from 1m2f to 1m4f including a Listed event. Stiff task on debut but worth noting in market.
Brother to the high class Thundering Blue. Took a big step forward from debut when shaping well at Kempton last week and holds place claims tonight.
Son of Frankel who was too green to do himself justice on recent Newmarket debut when sent off 25/1. Now sports cheek pieces and will have to learned plenty in a short space of time.
Well backed when fifth on Doncaster debut in a race which has thrown up plenty of winners. Stepped up on that when just touched off at Newmarket. Now switched to AW and is a major player here.
Showed more on second start at Nwbury last month but that form needs improving on and probably one for handicaps after this.
90,000 gns son of Mukhadram. 33/1 on soft ground Newbury debut last month but kept on nicely in the closing stages and should have learned plenty from that.
35.000 gns son of Lawman. Sent off 25/1 on Kempton debut last week when showing a little ability but needs to take a big step forward now.
Forecasts
Metatron (2/1), James Park Woods (11/4), Skyman (4/1), Fares Alpha (8/1), Eightsome Reel (12/1), Tammooz (14/1), Gantier (16/1), Ransomed Dreams (16/1), Blame It On Sally (100/1)
An interesting contest and METATRON is taken to maintain his unbeaten record though James Park Woods will be a tough nut to crack. Skyman shaped well at Newbury and looks best of the rest.
- Metatron
- James Park Woods
- Skyman
