Has been hard to win with but ran his best effort for current yard when just getting there too late off a career-low mark at Wolverhampton. Only up 1'b and extra distance should prove ideal. Leading contender.

Yet to add to two wins at the end of last season despite her competitive mark. Needs to find extra on recent form.

Not disgraced at Wolverhampton but the 1m4f proved beyond her and she shaped well over this C&D on her previous two starts. Can be competitive again off this mark.

Broke her maiden tag over this C&D and will be better suited by a return here after struggling back on turf, however others probably better handicapped.

Failed to progress in three starts in Ireland and would need to find improvement on handicap, stable and UK debut.

Front-runner had been knocking consistently on the door before a poor run at Kempton. Needs to bounce back and this sharp rise in trip also poses a question.

Sold for 6,500gns after back-to-back seconds for Michael Bell here. Has proven frustrating considering he's been a beaten favourite in four of his last five but likely to go close again.

Had shaped with promise in his previous three starts before a switch to front-running tactics didn't reap rewards here last time. Needs to show he acts at this track.

Yet to place in seven starts including in three for current trainer. Stable known for improving imports so while he's hard to fancy, market support would be interesting.

Gelded son of Sea The Stars who cost 550,000gns as yearling but showed little in three starts in France in 2016. Has shown even less in three here and remains best watched.

24-race maiden under all codes who has failed to make any sort of impact in three runs for this stable. Has undergone wind surgery again but it failed to work last time and easy to overlook.

10-time winner but has really struggled throughout this year and looks a shadow of his former self. Easy to dismiss.

Seven-race maiden but shaped a bit better over a mile here last time. Extra distance may help but concern that stable continues to struggle for winners.

Remains a maiden after 14 starts and unlikely to find the necessary improvement required from this poor draw. Others preferred.

Verdict

Guardiola was costly but generally consistent for his previous connections and could yet prove a decent buy after his recent move. Boscastle remains lightly-raced and open to further improvement back on her favoured surface. VOICE OF A LEADER could easily have won last time with a bit more luck and remains on a highly competitive mark.
