Not the most consistent, but back to form when second of 8 to Yasir at Wolverhampton last time having tried to make all. Claims if she can repeat that performance, but may face competition for the lead if attempting same tactics.

On a long losing run, largely due to a total lack of tactical speed, and while he's not badly treated on the pick of his form, it's easy to see him being vulnerable once again.

Won twice over 1m4f on soft ground last summer but form since disappointing, and ran poorly on return from a break at Sandown in September. Fared no better here last time, and opposable in current mood despite talented claimer retaining the ride.

Often makes the running but is usually a very weak finisher, and makes very little appeal on recent evidence.

Back to form when second on turf at Lingfield (1m6f) in September, and bit better than the result when fourth of 11 at Bath last time. Remains fairly treated on balance, and one to keep in mind having run respectably over C&D in the past.

Returned from hurdling with a decent second on the Flat at Chepstow in May. Disappointed in light of that when seventh over C&D the following month, and off since. Needs to bounce back.

Had form at up to 1m5f in France for Alain de Royer-Dupre, and has shaped as if needing further in two starts last month for new yard. Well worth a try at this trip, and merits respect given lightly-raced profile.

Hasn't gone on since winning a 1m AW maiden (Newcastle) for Karl Burke. Tailed off on first few starts for current yard, and while he hinted at a revival last time, he still has plenty to prove.

Stepped up on a poor reappearance when fourth of 14 to Ilhabela Fact in a 1m4f handicap here last time, and while he's not certain to stay this far, he's not had many opportunities, and not ruled out.

Veteran whose last win on the Flat came back in 2012. Has largely been campaigned over hurdles since, and out of sorts in this sphere of late.

Looked in need of the run when fourth at Chepstow (2m, firm) in May, but absent again since. Best effort came over this trip on sole AW outing, so hope that she can bounce back, and jockey booking a plus.

Modest form over shorter, but hinted at better when fifth of 9 to Enchanting Enya in a 2m handicap at Chelmsford last time. Might do better at this trip, but must show she can build on latest effort.

Useful performer over hurdles in his youth, but recent evidence suggests that little of that old ability remains, and starts out for a new yard having left Suzi Best.

Forecasts

Galileo's Spear (7/2), Unblinking (9/2), Roudrapour (9/2), Alcanar (8/1), Tin Fandango (8/1), The Last Debutante (10/1), Rahmah (11/1), Pollyissimo (12/1), Multigifted (16/1), Musikel (16/1), Everlasting Sea (16/1), Incus (20/1), Cool Macavity (50/1), Boru's Brook (100/1)

Verdict

Not many to rely on here, but RAHMAH comes here on the back of a couple of solid efforts and has run well enough over C&D in the past to think he can win off his current mark. The Last Debutante will be dangerous if getting an easy lead, although that isn't guaranteed, and the main danger could be Everlasting Sea, whose best run came on her sole previous try on Polytrack, and for whom Adam Kirby is a notable booking.
  1. Rahmah
  2. Everlasting Sea
  3. The Last Debutante
