A typically tight Classified Stakes with the entire field separated by just 4lb on official BHA figures. The now blinkered Zamandas is better off at the weights with his Nottingham conqueror, the hat-trick seeking Pure Shores, and that should certainly bring that pair much closer together. Katie Lee is a rare Newcastle runner for trainer Henry Candy and she could be involved if proving her stamina at this trip, whilst the ex-Irish racer Elusive Heights is also expected to run a solid race for Roger Fell. However, this could be the last hurrah for PICKETT'S CHARGE (for a while at least), after finishing a solid third to Alfred Richardson over C&D last week.
